"Everything went well. We had chosen a color in advance and the painter Chris even suggested a better color that we actually liked better than what we chose. I was a stickler on clean lines and the painter and supervisor Connor made sure I had clean lines using precise masking. We were very pleased with the result!"

"Excellent service. I had to reschedule my appoint time 2 days prior, and office staff were very nice about trying to arrange a different time and called me back in timely manner to let me know the new time. Door repair person was quite experienced, and knew exactly what problem was. I would call them again, very positive experience. They were great."

my company is small, just me, depending on the size of the job, will determine the need for a extra set of hands or two. I use subcontractors for the following, Elec., Plumbing, and heating and cooling, for which I am not licensed for, if permits are required. As for permits, I can pull other necessary permits if required. I am licensed and insured, My Michigan Builders License #2101193216. I don't charge for estimates, and give 10% discount for Angie's List Members, and Senior citizens. I am very honest and will give a fair price. I will be on the job from start to finish, as I always complete started job before moving onto the next.

"We hired Greg to build a new construction house for us. It has been a complete nightmare. He had given us four different close dates starting back in June and it is now October and he is still not completed. He has no financial backing and cannot complete jobs on time. We had to back out of the deal because he can?t complete the house. Now we have to take him to court to get our appliance and EMD money back because he refuses to pay us. His realtor is just as bad. They are the clown show of Scottville. Stay away from Greg and Jamie. They are a nightmare. "

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Bear Lake, MI

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
