"Integrity is an excellent business that I would very highly recommend. Adam installed my garage door, replacing a rather worn and damaged one. He was knowledgeable, highly competent, and efficient. Some time approximately 6 months after the door was installed, I derailed the door with a clumsy mistake. Upon calling Adam for repair, I learned that his business was experiencing a heavy work load that day. Because my garage is a storage device for me, I was very much concerned because the door would not close. Adam found time in his incredibly busy day to come and put the door back on track so that it would close. The seriously good work ethic and care for customers sets this company apart from all the others. I cannot give Adam and his company a higher recommendation."

"Wow!  I called and within two hours they were at my door.  After assessing the situation we were offered two options?to repair with a new part or replace with a new opener since our opener was already 18 years old.  We opted to replace.  These two men worked quickly to install the new opener.  They also diagnosed and fixed another door which had required us to hold the button to open or shut it. While here, they noticed that some critter had been nibbling on the weather stripping and they offered to replace the stripping.  That proved to be a challenge, but they persevered and completed the job.  Very happy with their responsiveness, their knowledge, and their work! <br />"

"Clark was responsive - he answered my call just after hours to setup the appointment and seemed willing to come out that evening if needed. On the day of the appointment, he was extremely knowledgeable about our garage door system (even though it was not a brand that he sells) and answered some non-related questions that we had. There was no upsell or pressure - Clark was extremely professional and completed the job quickly and at the highest quality."

"I felt it was competitive and it was easy. We have had problems with opener since then, they didn't replace that, apparently with a particular model of garage door that we had before this one, and the guy warned us that we might have problems. We are going to wind up having to replace the opener."

"We heard a loud noise around 11pm Sunday night. After walking through the house we went into the garage to find the cables and spring had broken/snapped. Monday morning, unable to raise the door (after releasing it) we realized that we and our cars were captive (no work today). I called Asheville Garage at 6:50am to see when they opened and left a message. At 8:05 my call was returned (great customer service) and a service tech arrived at our house (in Mars Hill) before 9am! You can't ask for more! Again awesome customer service (immediate call back when opened), quick response (a service tech sent out asap) and we were "released" before lunch. New springs, reset cables, safety check and lube and it's back to work again.....tomorrow."

FAQs for garage door installation and replacement projects in Asheville, NC

Yes, you can replace just one panel if your door is sectional and the damaged panel is available. Most modern residential garage doors have four to six horizontal panels that can be individually replaced. However, finding an exact match becomes challenging for older doors or discontinued styles. For doors over 15 to 20 years old or with multiple damaged panels, a complete door replacement might be more practical and visually consistent.

Minor dents or cosmetic damage can often be repaired without replacing the entire panel, potentially saving you money. However, if the damage affects the door's operation, security, or structural integrity, replacement is often a better investment.

For extensive damage to multiple panels or older doors where matching is difficult, full door replacement might be more economical in the long run than multiple individual panel replacements.

Your garage door panel might be repairable if the damage is superficial and doesn't affect functionality. Small dents in aluminum panels, minor scratches, or cosmetic issues often don't require full replacement. However, replacement is often necessary if the panel is warped, has large holes, shows extensive rust, or affects how the door operates. A professional garage door technician can evaluate the damage and recommend whether repair or replacement offers the best value and durability.
