I asked him to make sure the lights in the glass cases could all be turned on at once with one remote. Caleb had a positive attitude and explained how he would carry out this project, how long it would take and how much it would cost. Caleb's prices are about the same as other contractors I have consulted in the past or maybe a little more, but he warrants his prices. I was astounded at his skill set and the quality of his work was clearly his number one goal."

"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. "I am very happy with the patio roof. They did a nice job building the roof and it looks wonderful. One thing had to be redone after the inspection and they took care of it, no problem. Their electrician who did wiring for the ceiling fans was great too. The whole process took way longer than I had hoped but I understand that a small job like mine had to be fit in around the big jobs. My only regret is not having them screen it in to begin with (we are saving our pennies to do that in the near future) <br />"

"Started the work as scheduled. I wished that I could have had an itemized statement of everything that was done, but seemed to just be an overall cost even as I needed some extra things done, I was just told this would cost X amount more to do that. I had some extra supplies in my garage that I was told would be taken off my bill, but I never knew if it was or not because of the way the pricing was done. I had composite decking put down right before the project was started and it had to be covered over on the sunroom part because of the openings between the composite boards wasnt practical for a sunroom that was enclosed. So we decided the only other thing to do was to cover it with a thick plywood which they did but the finishing of the floor was left up to me. I thought they should have at least finished the floor for the price the whole room cost me. Overall they did an excellent job and cleaned up everything after the job was done, even some other supplies I had left over from a roofing job I had done previously from another company. <br />"

"The Holderby Brothers run a good business and they seek long-term relationships with homeowners.  This is a good approach and results in a better understanding of the needs of the client.  In my case, I have had them do "handy" work like handing new lights, installing custom chair rails and wainscoting, as well as larger projects like my Stacked Stone custom wall.  They come out a walk the space, which is a process for homeowner to present vision and needs, budget, etc.  Then they provide a written quote with materials, labor and price.  Be sure to ask for separate quotes if you have them look at multiple projects in same visit.  I liked this approach because I was able to prioritize and budget for each project and then decide which ones to start and when. <br /> They are very low-pressure, and will offer flexibility to allow you to bring your own products or have them procure the materials. One example of this was in doing the concrete backer drywall for my wall.  They recommended that, and the result is a sturdier installation!  The owners are very involved, if they use full-time workers or if the special need is to bring in a sub-contractor.   <br /> They are very comfortable with current technology...you can sign things electronically, get receipts to your email, send photos of your desired look (i used a lot of pinterest photos,,,haha), and have an office staff that is available and responsive. <br /> Overall, great company. <br />"
