"We just wrapped up our first major remodel — updating a hastily-converted bedroom-turned-bathroom. Alex Freddi and his team did a wonderful job. Our project manager, Alex, made great recommendations for placements of things, and was able to roll with the punches when a pipe placement caused an issue and a new wall needed to be built for the shower. We also appreciated that when we were sometimes at a loss when questions came up, he was able to understand and advise when necessary. Our tiler (also named Alex - a third Alex) was amazing and made it work when it looked like we might be short on shower tile. When we noticed that a requested outlet had been forgotten (right at the end of the whole project), they instantly fixed the situation and had a great attitude throughout the whole thing. We appreciated everyone's help who worked on various projects — all of them did a great job (including the plumber who was a little confused by our weird Japanese toilet, but got it working perfectly!). This all took place during January-February, so all of us (three adults) had to work from home throughout the whole project, and Alex's team was incredibly accommodating, safe, and gracious. We have a lot of noisy pets, our house is very old and full of fun surprises (and incredibly hard to navigate while holding construction material), and Alex & co. were nothing but understanding. We are so happy with our new bathroom. We can't wait for lockdown to end so we can have a party to show it off. ;) We would definitely use Alex and his team for future projects."

"Called on a Friday afternoon with sewer backup and Owen & co-worker arrived within a couple of hours and unclogged the line. They were very professional and friendly. I was pleased with their work but not with the news that tree roots were the cause and would require an expensive repair (excavation/partial sewer line replacement). Merry Christmas!"

"We are upgrading three of our upstairs bathrooms - granite counters, new sinks and faucets, new mirrors and lighting fixtures. After removal of the original light fixtures and rewiring for new ones, sections of sheet rock were either damaged or removed.  We knew that removal of the very large mirrors and backsplashes would mean additional damage to the walls.  We were particularly concerned about plate glass mirrors shattering during removal- a six by four foot, seven by four and four by four - all cemented to the sheet rock.  Lo's was my third call, asking questions about process, timing, cost and more.  Lori was informative and professional, with care and attention to my specific concerns.  We arranged an in home estimate with Amadou Lo, owner, for complete understanding of the project.  They called the day before to confirm the appointment.  Amadou was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish.  He discussed and addressed all of our concerns and provided an estimate that was well within the range we had received from others.  He particularly impressed us with his process description for the removal of the mirrors - our main concern, echoed by the other contractors which whom we had spoken.  Amadou and his crew arrived promptly for the project and all were careful with our property from the moment they arrived.  They began by taping plastic sheeting from our front door and wood floor entry hall, up the carpeted stairs and throughout all halls and rooms where work was to be performed and anywhere they would need to walk.  Amadou reviewed the job, as discussed with us, with his two workers and they began.  All mirrors were completely taped to protect against shattered glass pieces falling or flying.  Not one crack or break in any mirror as they were removed.  Their technique was so efficient that no sections of wall were pulled out.  The numerous, large, black cement sections where the mirrors had been attached were completely scraped off, as were any cement sections from the oak back and side splashes in each bathroom.  Missing sections from the wiring work and all damaged sections of all walls were restored, resurfaced and textured to match the rest of the bathroom walls. After removal of all debris and tools, the crew backed out of each room, rolling the plastic towards them, insuring that they left nothing behind. Amadou left when confident that his crew was underway and all was going smoothly.  He called to return and inspect the finished job to be certain that we were completely satisfied with the work and workers.  We were pleased to have him return to our home and to thank him and his company for their excellent work, from start to finish.  You would not know that any repair has been done to any of these bathrooms."

Ben gave me the information I needed to make the necessary decisions regarding my failing toilet, new toilet options and pricing...as well as considerations about replacing or not replacing the defunct disposal that greeted me as I moved in my new place. He did an excellent job with installation too! It was more expensive than expected, but so were the other repairs I have done this week, lol! "The outside dig was very expensive and a repeat from 3 years ago. I guess I should have chosen the longer dig in 2017. They cleaned up very well and hopefully will pass the video next week. The original call was for a plugged tub. The young man, Ian, worked hard and did not need to replace pipes. He also replaced 2 washers on showers and an O-ring on a toilet. Well done and very reasonable. Thank you Ian!"
