"Brian and Avery were very helpful in giving us options for a tub to shower conversion. The installers, Kyle and Layla were professional and very personable. Our family members are tall. We requested the shower head be installed at a higher height which the plumber T.L. accommodated. Kyle also took the time to make sure the grab bars and shower bench were the correct height for long arms and legs. The new shower is beautiful! "We are upgrading three of our upstairs bathrooms - granite counters, new sinks and faucets, new mirrors and lighting fixtures. After removal of the original light fixtures and rewiring for new ones, sections of sheet rock were either damaged or removed.  We knew that removal of the very large mirrors and backsplashes would mean additional damage to the walls.  We were particularly concerned about plate glass mirrors shattering during removal- a six by four foot, seven by four and four by four - all cemented to the sheet rock.  Lo's was my third call, asking questions about process, timing, cost and more.  Lori was informative and professional, with care and attention to my specific concerns.  We arranged an in home estimate with Amadou Lo, owner, for complete understanding of the project.  They called the day before to confirm the appointment.  Amadou was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish.  He discussed and addressed all of our concerns and provided an estimate that was well within the range we had received from others.  He particularly impressed us with his process description for the removal of the mirrors - our main concern, echoed by the other contractors which whom we had spoken.  Amadou and his crew arrived promptly for the project and all were careful with our property from the moment they arrived.  They began by taping plastic sheeting from our front door and wood floor entry hall, up the carpeted stairs and throughout all halls and rooms where work was to be performed and anywhere they would need to walk.  Amadou reviewed the job, as discussed with us, with his two workers and they began.  All mirrors were completely taped to protect against shattered glass pieces falling or flying.  Not one crack or break in any mirror as they were removed.  Their technique was so efficient that no sections of wall were pulled out.  The numerous, large, black cement sections where the mirrors had been attached were completely scraped off, as were any cement sections from the oak back and side splashes in each bathroom.  Missing sections from the wiring work and all damaged sections of all walls were restored, resurfaced and textured to match the rest of the bathroom walls. After removal of all debris and tools, the crew backed out of each room, rolling the plastic towards them, insuring that they left nothing behind. Amadou left when confident that his crew was underway and all was going smoothly.  He called to return and inspect the finished job to be certain that we were completely satisfied with the work and workers.  We were pleased to have him return to our home and to thank him and his company for their excellent work, from start to finish.  You would not know that any repair has been done to any of these bathrooms."

"D & F Plumbing Co did a great job with scheduling, communicating, confirming, and sent me Ben...the best plumber! Ben gave me the information I needed to make the necessary decisions regarding my failing toilet, new toilet options and pricing...as well as considerations about replacing or not replacing the defunct disposal that greeted me as I moved in my new place. He did an excellent job with installation too! It was more expensive than expected, but so were the other repairs I have done this week, lol! I will always ask for Ben, and I hope he'll replace my next toilet in a few months."

"Edit: Stars have been lowered because the tile was not sealed properly, so the edges started flaking off within a year. The threshold to the hallway was not planned properly by the contractor, and a metal piece was installed to fill a gap, which looks extremely cheap and we paid a lot for the remodel. We had agreed upon a built in wood cabinet/closet to replace the built in one that was already there, but due to the contractor wanting to get the job done, we were give a melamine one made by Closets to go which looks so out of place in a 1926 home, and so cheap. We realized later that the bid cost was not adjusted accordingly. The mahogany moulding around the door was removed and replaced with pressed wood moulding, which looks terrible, and the same moulding was used around part of the bottom of a wall, and chips/crumbles very easily. The contractor also failed to bring enough caulk to fully seal the tub/shower at the end of the job, and we had to seal the remainder. Further, a lot of extra tile was ordered, which we paid for, and were told belonged to the contractor when the job was done, and that and we could not keep it. Overall, we are really disappointed with some of the work that was done due to quality issues, and also it was also shady that so much extra tile was purchased and paid for by us, yet the contractor claimed it belonged to him at the close of the job, and took the tile with him We had 5 Star Home Renovations do a complete remodel of our 1926 year old house bathroom. This included marble tile to the ceiling in the bathtub surround, marble tile on the lower half of all of the walls, medium hex floor tile, installing an exhaust fan, replacing the light fixture, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, wiring and outlet near the toilet for a warm water bidet, molding around the door, and a replacement of the built in closet. Joe was super responsive anytime we called or emailed with questions during the renovation. He and his crew were professional, punctual, kept work areas clean, and were respectful of the house during the renovation."

"R3J Residential Services did an excellent job! We previously hired Ron (owner) to remodel our master bathroom in 2019 and he and his subs did an excellent job. When we decided to update our guest bathroom and utility room (plus some other work), we only wanted Ron to do it as we were extremely confident of the high quality of his work and his reasonable prices. We did not even get a second quote from another contractor because we knew he would do a great job and his price would be fair. Everything came out perfect - the quality and installation of the cabinets, countertops, and flooring were excellent. Ron is an extremely good project manager; his subs were always on time and he kept to the schedule he had proposed at the beginning of the project. Ron is very trustworthy and he cleans up at the end of every day during the project. He is the best contractor I have ever worked with on a major project in my house. I would recommend him in a heartbeat on any home project and would definitely hire him again for any remodeling/update to my home."
