He stopped by a few days later with a drawing. We approved the design, stopped by his buisness later and picked the type of material for the counter top. <br /> He did a fantastic job of building the island. It's built out of solid oak, the joints fit perfectly and the finish is perfect. I am a woodworker so I know he did quality work. <br /> The project was done in a timely manor and I would not hesitate to hire his services again. <br /> <br />"

"We first got a price for an entire island, including cabinets, sink, faucets, and counter top.  It took a couple weeks before we got the estimate.  When we did (we had to call a couple times, trying to get the estimate), it was over $6000. The counter top was Formica and there were no special requests regarding the cabinets, except we wanted cherry to match the other cabinets in the kitchen.  They told us we'd have it in 4-6 weeks.  The cost was way more than we wanted to spend so we only ordered the counter top and took care of the cabinets ourselves. We were told it would take 6-8 weeks.  They didn't even have to cut the hole for the sink. My husband did that. The sales person did not keep us updated on the progress.  We called her to get updates. When it finally came in, we did not get a phone call to tell us, even though they claimed someone called. I finally got an email, notifying us it was in. <br />"
