"Promptness was my major complaint. Pennington would say he would make it by the weekend, for example, to pick up the tub, and never show or call. It took many calls and reminders before connections were made. This went on multiple times throughout the course of the project. On the plus side, he had a cell, and would almost always pick up when I called, so at least I could touch base. After he took the tub, he said he should have it back in about two weeks. It was probably closer to two months. But apart from that, his price was lower than anyone else's I called. And from what I can tell, he did a good job. The tub looks good -- especially considering what he started with. He had to take off a layer of paint that someone had put on the inside of the tub, and the outer surface was unfinished and rough. Although if I had it to do over again I might ask how much extra to put enamel on the outside surface as well, instead of the dull white coating that was put on. Pennington made no complaints or extra charges for taking the tub up the steps, which was a challenge. And the capper -- once they brought the tub back, his son and helper insisted on putting on the new hardware I had to hook up to the drain for no charge. Even when I couldn't find all the pieces, they went to their truck and used their own hardware to finish the job."

"I think it was fine. Actually, my wife coordinated that one but I don't think we have any problems with it. I'm not sure if we paid extra charge aside from the deal because  I wasn't at home when the guy came out to do the job. We've used them before and they are the one who installed the water system in our house. I don't think they standout exemplary or horribly bad but the service that they have provided to us was what we expected."

He was very thorough in checking for additional leaks and took a look at another small project and recommended that I save my money because it wasn't worth paying him to do it when it was such a simple DIY. "Mr. Bill Schwenzer and his brother, Tom, demolished the bathtub area, removed the tile floor, installed new sub floor, removed the vanity top, raised the vanity a few inches, installed 12"x24" tiles in tub area with a niche, installed 18"x18" tiles on the floor, installed new baseboards and shoe mold, organized plumber for installation of  new tub, toilet, sink and shower faucets.  Bill and Tom always prompt and efficient.  We had a few challenges with the location and size of the niche because of some electrical wires in the wall, but it worked out well after all.  They were very meticulous in their work, cleaned up after themselves, and especially wanted to be sure we were satisfied AND happy with the job.  Not only were they polite and friendly with us (and the family dog), they were also polite and friendly with each other.  They are trustworthy and honest gentlemen, which is hard to find these days.   Everything is GREAT!

"Ed and his crew came out to figure out where my problem was with my sewer line. They had to dig up the sewer line to find out why it was backing up. Once they were able to see the pipe we discovered that one of the utility lines had drilled their cable line through my sewer line causing me the problem. Ed called out the correct officials to determine who was responsible so that I would be able to file a claim for his services. We determined that it was in fact connected to ATand T. I'm still waiting to hear from someone at ATand T in the claims department. However, Ed and his crew did a GREAT job in a desperate time of need. They cut out the bad part of the pipe and replaced it with new. It's running like a champ! Ed also did a great job of taking pictures for me to have to be able to show ATand T if tey had any questions.

"I purchased a 2 hour/$89 Angie's List deal for Handyman service. I had a scheduling issue at the beginning, but very happy with the work completed. I had a very large headboard Michael attached to the wall, he installed a shower head, he repaired a sliding glass door lock, repaired a hole in my wood floor, and also repaired/patched a drywall corner wall, all within 2 hours. Amazing! Would highly recommend!"
