"Heartwood was recommended by Reico Kitchen and Bath in Springfield, VA, my cabinet supplier. I'd originally considered engineered quartz but when three styles I chose turned out to be backordered I took a fresh look at the Corian offerings and chose a Private Collection style in Clamshell. The material is one and a half inches thick with the plywood backing so it replicates the solid look of stone countertops, even around the sink, where Heartwood also built it up. I have gotten so many compliments on it, especially from people who don't realize there are alternatives to granite. "The built-ins Econize installed in our family room and daughter's room are exactly what we wanted and our experience with the company was wonderful from the initial design consultation to the final install. During the design consultation David listened to my requests and provided honest and practical suggests and recommendations. He could have easily sold me a built-in bookcase that wouldn't have looked good in addition to the family room and child's bedroom floor to ceiling bookcase we ended up getting, but was honest and professional and suggested I not go ahead. The install was efficient and the install guys were prompt, friendly, professional, and courteous. They removed shoes, asked if we would like them to wear a mask even though they were alone in the rooms they installed in, and were very accommodating of the fact I didn't know how many wire holes we needed in the built in. They arranged to come back and drill and fit these at a later date and arrived promptly and worked efficiently again. Just excellent customer service and an excellent product. Could not recommend them enough."

"The cabinets were delivered on time and we were pleased with the quality. There were a few minor problems, but Cabinet Discounters sent someone out to take care of things. We loved our salesperson, Bekki Skeans, but unfortunately she left the company before our kitchen was finished. Another salesperson took over, and he did fine. My only reservation about this company is that the salesperson/designer does not come out to the site. They do the design based on blueprints and photos. I was not comfortable with this, so I hired another designer, but in the end we purchased out cabinets from Cabinet Discounters because they did have great cabinets for reasonable prices. <br />"
