"CONS - 1st - We gave the company a down payment on 11/1/19, and they did not start the job until January 6, 2020, and never gave us a reason for the delay. We kept trying to make contact with Felipe Silva and he would keep giving us dates, and then would never start. So, we had to keep calling and harassing them for a definitive date. It took us 2 months to get that date. 2nd - The (Foreman/Lead Worker),Felipe Silva had horrible communication skills, he would not contact us with status, when they would be arriving and constantly left us waiting and wondering. I have nothing nice to say about Felipe, he was cocky, arrogant and did not listen to anything the homeowner had to say. He would always try to put the blame on the homeowner. We had a constant battle with this individual. He never took responsibility for his actions, just always trying to blame someone else. Horrible professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3rd - Felipe would tell us one thing about what was going to be done, and do another and then act like he never said that. Also, he would try to nickle and dime us for every little thing. 4th - The individual that laid the concrete slab in our kept having his female friend come to our house, he was doing a job, she should have never been at the site location while he was working. Also, the concrete slab is not level. 5th - The individuals that did the wall remodeling in the bathroom made a big hole in the adjacent wall and did a horrible job patching it, and never fixed it. After they were done texturing the walls, I had to go back to fix and sand before I painted, and it was supposed to be paint ready, which it wasn't. Was very unhappy with these workers. 6th - The quality of the cabinets they ordered were okay. We wanted to get our own, but Felipe said it would take forever to order the ones we wanted from Lowes, but it took forever to get the cabinets they ordered. We kept having to return the cabinets due to problems, scratches, not painted properly, warped, wrong size, which Felipe measured and then tried to say we measured wrong. Wish I would have put my foot down when it came to the cabinets. 7th - The plumber that did the work on the bathroom & kitchen was horrible. First, he rushed in installing the bathroom sink and it leaked, which caused one of the bathroom walls to get saturated, which we had to dry so it wouldn't get mold. When installing the kitchen sink he thought he was done, but when I check underneath the sink water was gushing all over, and I had to point this out to him as he was walking away to leave. It turns out that he had the wrong size gasket for the pipes. And, I had to clean up the mess because he didn't even after I handed him a towel. He was rude, unprofessional and didn't seem to care for his job. PROS 1st - Gonzalo, the gentleman that did the tile work in my bathroom was great. The tile work is beautiful and precise. I love walking into my bathroom & seeing such professional work. He took his time, made sure to measure just right, was very pleasant and professional the whole time. I would love to hire just him again. 2nd - Tim & Vincent, the gentleman that installed our cabinets were also great. They did great work in leveling our cabinets, because we have any old house with uneven walls. Very professional and pleasant. Vincent installed a wall between two adjacent rooms, and did a great job with installation and texturing the wall. It would be nice to hire these individuals without the company. All and all, I would not recommend this company, just the 3 gentleman I mentioned."

"The existing clothes racks started coming off of the walls. Went to the Home Improvement show on January 18th, talked to Ron at the booth. Told him what had happened and what we would like to do. He gave us his card and told us to call the office and setup an appointment. On the way out of the show, we called the office and got an appointment for January 23rd at 10:00AM. Ron came right on time and measured the closet, ask us some questions about what we sort of clothing we would be putting in the closet, like racks for long clothes, shoe storage, how many drawers and shelves. He put together a computer display right there so that we would have a visual of our closet. Picked out the wood that we liked for the shelves, drawers and sides of the racks. Setup appointment for February 11th at 9:00AM to have them installed. In the mean time we cleared everything out of the closet, repaired the walls and painted. <br /> On February 11th Julian got there before 9:00AM and started installing. He was very efficient, clean and professional. Was completely through by around 11:30AM. <br /> We absolutely love the new closet system. Would definitely use California Closets again and recommend them. <br />"

"We were looking for an auto transporter to transfer an older (not classic) car from Virginia to Nevada. We did our due diligence and researched the potential companies that could complete the task in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Three providers were interviewed and quotes were obtained and, interestingly, we found that there was considerable differences in the information that was given and the commitments that were made. We delayed contacting Auto Transporters Online for over a week, cutting into "our timeline" significantly as the expense for the transport had three tiers of cost options, even though the lowest tier was comparable to the competitors. From the reviews read, Auto Transporters Online was a smaller company and there were less reviews posted on Angie's List and BBB. As it turned out, we should have gone with the initial "gut instinct" from the beginning and chosen Auto Transporters Online and saved ourselves from the resulting stress. This may be a small company in comparison to others, but this company offers a personalized touch and pride in a job well done, offering a true customer service model.  <br /> Our situation was apparently somewhat unique in that we wanted to ship the car from Virginia and have it arrive in Nevada at the same time (or a day or two later) that we arrived in Nevada (driving a second car). We were relocating and did not have a designated person to ship the car from Virginia or receive the car in Nevada other than ourselves so the timeline of travel was our limiting factor. The week of research (and frustration) had us at wit's end and ready to call it quits and look for an alternative method of getting both cars to Nevada.  <br /> Dave Miller was contacted by phone on the evening of May 11th and reacquainted him with our situation and the quote that he had provided over a week before and options available were discussed in detail. Dave was understanding of the situation and told us what he could and could not accomplish. He was personable, courteous and professional. We made the commitment and forwarded the paperwork to him that evening. By the time, we awoke and checked email the next morning, Dave had a potential driver that could pick the car up on the 12th (that day) and deliver it to Nevada within the time period desired with a 2 day flexible window. This was perfect! <br /> The car was prepared and picked up on the 12th of May from Virginia and delivered the 20th in Northern Nevada. There were no issues upon delivery. Contact with the driver and Dave Miller occurred throughout the 9 day period, either by phone or by email. <br /> We are very happy with the service provided by Auto Transporters Online and would not hesitate to contact them again. Dave Miller is trustworthy, personable, committed and professional. He provided exemplary customer service at a time when customer service is a misunderstood concept and delivered by very few. "It is going well. Chuck is an artist in building custom made cabinets for my kitchen. The original kitchen was not laid out well and with Chuck's expertise, we have redesigned a kitchen that will work for me and increase the lay out to be in the modern world, 21st century. I know that Chuck does other refinishing of wood products, etc., but I did not use him for that. I used him totally to redo my kitchen making and installing brand new cabinets with pull out drawers, European door pulls. Beautiful work and craftsmanship. <br />"
