"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

Woody came out examined the foundation and masonry work and had an estimate with in one hour of getting my call.  Very knowledgeable about very old masonry work.  Work was completed in 2-3 days by himself and crew or 2-3.  Went to great pains not to damage neighbors newly stamped concrete walk between houses.  Clean up was very complete and the foundation looks brand new.  Definitely would hire again.  Does everything exactly as he says he will."

"I’m incredibly impressed with Jaco Waterproofing. I had a number of structural maintenance issues I needed addressed after a home buying inspection revealed some problem areas. They didn’t miss a single thing in the engineer’s report. The guys were incredibly efficient. Everything was finished in a day and half. There was no delay or half finished job and minimal impact to my yard when it came to installing the piers under the front porch steps. Just had to re-lay some flower bed bricks and shift some displaced flowerbed dirt. They were as neat and careful as possible, and offered effective solutions that were financially reasonable. "EMA is a fantastic company to work with, the reviews don't do them justice. Eddie returned our initial call later in the evening and came out within a day or so to give us an estimate. We showed Eddie the areas around the house that concerned us. He then inspected our roofing, gutters, and siding; walked us thru the additional areas of concern, and the repair process. The work crew at EMA are amazingly fast and very friendly. Any questions I had they took the time to explain what was going on and how it protects the house. You couldn't ask for a better group of guys. The job started Monday and they were done Tuesday afternoon. They cleaned everything up and walked us around the house to showcase the new gutters and siding. When the roof needs replacement in a few years, I'm calling them back out."
