"From quote to finish, working with Craftsmen Home Improvements was a fantastic experience. This was my first major house project as a new(ish) homeowner, and I was nervous. I chose Craftsmen because Jim Kosloski was one of the only salesmen I talked with whom I felt was being straight with me, their exceptional labor warranty, and their emphasis on customer service. They were not the cheapest quote, but I figured that working with a company that will make sure the customer is well taken care of and backs its work for a lifetime was worth a little extra. I was not disappointed! Ellie Palmer was my Project Manager and she was incredible. She was in constant communication during the project, making sure I knew what was going on, resolving any issues (ex: the regular supplier was out of the shingle I wanted so she found it somewhere else), and answering all my questions. Her responsiveness was next level. They were spot on with their timing and everything and everyone showed up and left when they were supposed to. Everyone I interacted with from the crews was friendly and helpful. The clean up was great and the results look amazing. Even my neighbors were impressed! There were a couple minor issues along the way, but they were all fixed quickly, with no fuss, and at no extra cost. I couldn’t be happier and, with windows and siding projects in my future, I’m sure I’ll be calling Craftsmen again."

"I was looking for someone to install some light fixtures and repair some holes in exterior drywall. Scott responded same day to an email I sent and gave an estimate based on pictures to repair the wall. The light fixtures are admittedly a bigger job and will require ladder work, so he passed on that part of it. He was communicative, easy to schedule, arrived early, cleaned up after himself, and the job looks great! Would definitely hire him again!"

"They did an excellent job.  The roof was completed as promised and looks great.  Our ceiling has never looked this good since we purchased the house.  EZ Home Solutions made the process easy for us.  Our home had suffered damage in a massive hail storm along with thousands of homes in our area.  EZ Home solutions dealt with our insurance company and even dealt with our mortgage company (which is not easy even for simple things).  I appreciated that they communicated with us frequently as to where we were in the process with insurance, and in the queue having a crew out to our home.  I would use them again. <br />"

"We had TG Peterson remodel our kitchen in 2007 (~$50K for kitchen and other work in home).  We were very satisfied with their work at the time.  Recently, we needed to replace our dishwasher.  We discovered that the routing of the water piping at the rear of the dishwasher location interfered with newer dishwasher designs. <br /> <br /> We consulted with TG Peterson who quickly proposed a solution and arranged for the resolution of the interference issue.  In addition, to resolving the intereference issue with the plumbing, they verified that the new dishwasher would fit.  <br /> <br /> I am very impressed by TG Peterson' willingness to stand behind their original work and their responsiveness to my needs.  Four years after their original work we are still very satisfied with their workmanship.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Jim was GREAT! He was professional, timely, and efficient. We were preparing to sell our home and he added a lot of great advice and little quick things to spruce up everything just that little bit extra. The rooms painted looked perfect, and all the bathroom and other work was completed very professionally. I would definitely hire Jim again!"

"My project manager, Chris Grose, was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with and always responded to my inquiries and questions. His carpenters did an excellent job and the finishing work of the wainscoting matches existing exactly. I was also very happy with his drywall contractor. The drywall contractor made sure the employee he sent to do the work could match our existing textured drywall on the ceiling portion of the job. It matches perfectly! This was a relatively small job but I never felt like it was less important than any other projects Chris was managing. I'm very happy with Chris and Northrup and will hire them again. I recommend you hire them too!"

"We needed caulking fixed in multiple parts of our home. We also needed a toilet paper holder fixed. The repair man got it all done in one hour. It is a great rate if you need a lot of little things fixed around the house and you need it to look good."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Belle Plaine, MN

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
