"Pat Martin is the owner/operator of this business. We have used him for several years now, replacing a much more expensive firm that used employees to do the work. No surprise that minimum wage laborers do not have the same degreeof commitment to quality as an owner/operator. So, wwhen you hire Martin Bros., you get Pat on the job. We have been delighted each and every time that we have used him. He cleaned our windows a couple of weeks ago, and, after that, he did my son's house and this week my daughter's. <br /> My daughter's windows were installed last year and still had sticky residue from the manufacturing process. So, Pat had to take more time with his blade and Goo-Gone to remove the gunk before doing the actual cleaning. Now the windows are crystal clear and a joy to look out of. <br /> Another point worth noting: Pat is a very fine and honest person and family man. We do not hesitate for a moment in giving him the run of our house, even if we are away. That makes it much easier to use Pat than, say, a contractor with hourly wage workers whom we do not and really cannot know. <br /> To top it all off, Pat is a real bargain. I often have to tell him that he has not charged us enough!! <br />"

"The house and windows look great. My only concern is that the workers did not come prepared with masks and I had to give one to one of them. They did wear the masks provided."

"Without a hitch. He installed the tile one day and grouted it the next. He came back later to seal it. All in all, a very positive experience."

"The entire process went smoothly. The reservation went quickly, once we paid an extra $200 to reduce the pickup window to 3 days. The pickup and drop off process also went well. The car was returned in the same condition we left it. We would recommend using United Freight."

"Good ordering process, good quality product. Had 6 installed last year by Lindus, decided to have the come and install the rest of the windows. Even with social distancing, they were able to complete work in no time. Workers and sales were always curtious and friendly."

"B&R was great to work with. They redid our bathroom, which included removing everything (tile, tub, vanity, etc.) and installing new materials. We worked primarily with Carol, and she did a good job of keeping us informed throughout the process, was very accommodating when we made some additions in the middle of the project, and stayed on top of what needed to be done. The people who did the demo and installation of new materials were great, too, and did quality work. We’re very happy with the end result."

"<p>First off, TG Peterson was one of three estimates and all were Angie's list companies. Tod did a really good job understanding our needs for the project and working with us regarding the overall project cost. Prior to excepting the bid, he came out a second time to answer our questions a second time. We were made aware of some potential issues with electric, which wouldn't be known until the plaster removal. </p> <p>Steve and Bill started the project as planned with the removal of the plaster, but as with all projects on older homes, we of course had some electrical repair needed. Steve and Bill completed the removal of the old plaster and cleaned up the kitchen. It was as if they were never there. Tod recommended Qualified Electric to do the work. Rodger Dickey came out and visited with me and looked over the job, basically, the kitchen needed to be re-wired and brought up to code. Because we had additional electrical needs for the appliances, we had that also completed at the same time. All work stopped on the construction part of the project until the wiring could be completed. Rodger's quote was less than we expected for the work required, $2,500.00. Rodger and his son completed the entire wiring project the same day, and will be returning to connect the appliances. If an ything, we have peace of mind that we have no electrical worries. </p> <p>Steve returned to install the plasterboard and start the finish work. This took several days to complete, but he was always on time and when finished each day cleaned the floors and counters. </p> <p>We really appreciated the time and patience of TG Peterson Construction and Qualified Electric and the work they completed on the kitchen. My previous kitchens I've remodeled I have used the bid box stores to purchase and install the cabinets, flooring, counters, and appliances and have had contractors do any remodeling needs. I believe I would have made a better choice to have had the entire project under TG Peterson.</p> <br />"

"I would describe Lonnie as skilled and trustworthy. From the start he gave us an accurate timeline and was straightforward with when he would be able to start the project which was a few months out. He kept us informed of progress and returned calls/texts the same day. The final cost of the project was only slightly above the quoted price. The difference being the need to install the sewage pump versus extending the sewage line. As with any old home, there are likely to be issues meeting the current building codes. Lonnie always addressed these issues immediately with the building inspector to find an acceptable solution rather than moving forward and hoping the inspector wouldn't catch it or guessing at a solution that would be acceptable to the inspector. Lonnie was also willing to work with us so we were able to do some of the work to lower costs: trim work, painting, and installing ship-lap. We will certainly be working with Raven Builders for any other projects."
