"I called A.H. Remodeling for a bid in January, and Andy came in the lowest out of the three contractors I talked to by $10k-$15k. He keeps it simple--there's no designer or fancy computer-generated models--and that's why I went with him. Andy works with an Amish cabinet builder who had great recommendations for cabinet layout and style, and Andy himself brought a bunch of fantastic ideas to the table. (He suggested a soapstone counter top for my island, which wasn't even on my radar. I went with it, and it's gorgeous.) <br /> The entire project took about 5.5 weeks to complete, with Andy's two-man team in the house every day. I saw immediate progress, and Andy kept me up to speed on what they'd be working on most days. The quality of the work--from the flooring, painting, and trim to the cabinets and counter tops--was truly outstanding. I only had two things I wanted them to fix up before they wrapped up the project, and one of them was already on their list to do.  <br /> The team's clean-up at the end of the project was well beyond what I expected. "Mitch and the crew at Fine Finishes did a phenomenal job in start to finish. Mitch reviewed the process with us ahead of starting the job and worked into our timelines very well. They did something very cool for us that many people questioned us on, and that is they painted our basement unfinished ceiling black. The results are incredible. Without a doubt would hire these guys again. Supplied all paint and materials, and did a superb job cleaning up each day they worked with us. Came back and caulked/filled trim nail holes. We're so happy with these guys. You can't go wrong. Hire them for your project and you won't be disappointed!"

"We hired Carlson based on other customers' reviews on Angie's List. We were about to put our house up for sale and needed to make it look attractive to potential buyers. This company is outstanding! Weather was raining on the morning of the appointment, and I was sure they wouldn't be able to perform the jobs in such conditions. But, to my surprise, the crew leader Dave arrived and said he had viewed weather radar and it looked like the storms would pass, allowing his team to do the contracted work. The end results exceeded our expectations to the max! Outside power washing just didn't include cleaning the siding. The crew even washed under the eaves and the outside of the rain gutters! We contracted for their best level of window cleaning, which included cleaning the glass inside and out, cleaning the screens, and even wiping around the sills and cleaning out the window frame tracks. When everything was done, the entire house sparkled! I'll use Carlson again in the future, and will strongly recommend them to other family and friends."

"Pete was prompt and courteous during the initial estimate. He gave us a window of time when he would be able to do our decks and he was even able to get the work done as promised before the date we asked for. He helped us match new stain to the previous stain that we were keeping on the deck rails. The match turned out perfectly and it would be difficult for anyone to tell that the rails and the deck-boards are done with two different stains. About a week after the work was completed and paid for, we received a check in the mail from Pete for $300.00. His note stated that he had spent less time staining the deck than expected and was refunding the "over-paid" amount back to us!  We could not be more pleased."
