"5 Stars – Exceptional Craftsmanship and Service from Ray Long at L&L Construction I can’t say enough good things about Ray Long and L&L Construction. Ray recently completed a 20'x12' deck off the back of our house, and the entire experience—from initial planning to final screw—was outstanding. He recommended Azek decking, and we’re so glad we followed his advice. The materials are beautiful, durable, and perfect for our space. The finished deck includes a full wrap around smooth top railing, 3-foot stairs off the side, and 5-foot stairs off the front. Ray also removed a large window facing the new deck and installed 48" french doors that open onto the deck. He carefully redid the surrounding siding and adeptly handled dry rot and structural issues from an unlevel, unplumb house with skill and expertise. What really stood out was Ray’s high attention to detail and how it felt like he was building the deck as if it were his own home. Every part of the project was done with care, precision, and pride. Ray was also extremely patient as we went through multiple redesigns to try to stay within budget without compromising quality or our vision. He offered honest recommendations and never pushed unnecessary extras—just smart solutions from years of experience. We’re absolutely thrilled with the result and would work with him again in a heartbeat. "Hiring R and J Builders was the very best decision I could have made. Ryan tore out our old fence and deck and even took all the old landscaping out. "These guys are stellar. My deck was in disrepair and I was uncertain what to do with it - whether to totally knock it down and start anew, or to build on the existing foundation. Also what material to use - composite, wood, etc. They came out, looked at my deck, gave recommendations, and worked within my budget. We went with cedar, and within two weeks, I had an absolutely beautiful new deck, built on the existing foundation. I was very pleased with the whole interaction - they were courteous and professional, friendly and hard-working, arriving early and working through the day to get the job done. It was for me an exceedingly good experience with a contractor, and their work is solid. I was nervous as a first time home owner to hire a contractor, for fear of not knowing enough and being taken. I had spoken with several other general contractors and also specific deck builders prior to hiring Modern Exteriors, and each could have built a deck. One larger company offered a lower price but when they came out, the materials they suggested would have been sub-par and the deck would have been plastic-looking. These guys are a smaller business that build decks for a living, and are very good at it and clearly enjoy each project - like works of art. I highly recommend them."

"We hired RT Total Lawn Care (don’t be fooled by their name, they do much more than lawns) to build a free-standing cedar deck and steps from our RV. They offered a free estimate and arrived soon after we contacted them. There was excellent communication about what we needed, their design suggestions and the price. "After getting eight contractor quotes, we chose Anyvision Home Remodeling. They were not the highest quote or the lowest. We went with Anyvision Home Remodeling because of Chase and his presentation. Chase wasn't pushy, he took time to listen to what we wanted and let us know if something wouldn't work and why. It was a complete, down to the studs and joists remodel! In fact, there was water damage and they had to replace some of the joists. Chase recommended some stores to us to go look at tile, sinks, the tub and cabinets and met us to look at our choices. I ordered some things online, but sent them to Chase to make sure they would work before ordering. The guys Chase has to do the work, from demo to completion, were fantastic! They really did a great job. If I noticed anything I didn't care for or had questions about, all I had to do was mention it and it was taken care of immediately. Communication was constant though WhatsApp. Chase set up a group and our communications were all documents right there. We knew what time and who was coming out any given day. We shared photos and occasionally just chatted. The end result is a gorgeous master bathroom with a private toilet room, an oversized double vanity with LED mirrors, and a wet room with a soaking tub and double rain showers, both with hand held showers too. Oh, and one thing I really appreciated, was that Chase brought in a cleaning person, so our new space was gleaming and ready for us to use! Please take the time to look at our before and after shots!"
