"AVSTEP was great to work with, the team started earlier than expected and completely fixed my foundation, not only with replacement block and cement, but added two different types of waterproofing as well. When additional wood rot was found on top of the foundation, they were able to repair that as well without adding more time to the project. "Eddie Costa and his ETC Home Improvement team are the only general contractors I will work with. I have used ETC many times over several years, and I am never disappointed. Eddie is my general contractor for several rentals and my home. He put a beautiful kitchen in a shore rental, does every aspect of the construction bringing in great plumbers and electricians, too. Eddie aligns his work and subcontractors so it goes fast. He brings in locally constructed kitchen cabinets that are beautiful. Eddie is just finishing a home office addition and master closet for me, and it turned out perfect. Finish carpentry by Carlos is amongst the best I have seen. I can’t say enough about how professional Ed is, and all the team he brings in. His prices are very reasonable for the quality you will get. "Hubert Construction performed large scale construction/ additions to my home in 2022 and 2024. I had a large addition done in 1998, which I only wish could have been Hubert Construction. It left much to be desired. I watched Hubert work on another house nearby and was impressed. The 2 jobs that they did for me, were absolutely impeccable. Every part of the construction was done exactly as I hoped for, from design, to quality of work, to finished product. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to hire him a second time. "I hired Nicopal Construction to demo and gut my finished basement. It was a horrible dirty job, so I had a very hard time finding a company that would take the job without re-finishing the basement when complete. Vincent, the very friendly owner, came by and provided an estimate. He understood that I wanted to move quickly, so he scheduled the job the following week. I really appreciated his urgency in moving on the project. First day John and Vincent came out to begin work. Don’t let John’s youthful appearance fool you. This young man is a total workhorse! He has the work ethic of a Depression era coal miner. He enjoys hard work, and, just as important, does excellent work. With any project we hit some snags, but Vincent and John were always keeping me updated. In the end; the job was completed and I am extremely satisfied with the end result. Again, special thank you to John. He really did a great job. As with any project, there is a level of stress. I have to say, Vincent was awesome to work with during the whole process. Here’s an example, after work was complete and final payment was made, there was some additional work that was missed (this was my fault and not Nicopal’s). Vincent stayed in communication with me and came back out to complete the work! I have never experienced that level of service from a contractor. Usually once they get their final payment you never see them again. This is not the case with Nicopal Construction. Thank you, Vince! You truly are a man of your word. I would highly recommend Nicopal Construction for any project. We have a few more projects in mind in the future and will be reaching out again. Thank you again guys! I appreciate the hard work."

"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"Dennis and his team installed a new beautiful bathroom from scratch. They had to build the room, install new plumbing, attach to the HVAC, frame and install the door, tile, paint, install all the fixtures, sink, toilet, handicap bars, and build outside stairs They did an excellent job. All their work was great, Dennis was always here when he said he would be and called back promptly when I had questions. His team was very nice and neat. I am very happy I chose Dennis for the job. I would use him again for any future work."
