"Steve & Chris did an excellent job on a house we were selling (4/17 review) so I only considered them for painting in our Back Bay condo. Another excellent job at a very reasonable cost. One room had a ceiling with lots of intricate detail and my close inspection of the molding shows no brush strokes or runs (see photo; don't know how they managed that). Our decorator chose lots of grass cloth wallpaper, which Steve had to fit into and around other detailed molding--I think he worked it with a scalpel to get a perfect fit. Steve removed seven built in speakers (ceiling and walls) and patched the holes so perfectly that you can't tell where they were (photo). The rest of the job was wall preparation and painting. I like that they charge time and materials instead of a bid price, and then provide detailed records to back up the invoice. Highly recommend Steve if you want high quality-low stress for your project."

He worked very methodically and precisely, deftly handling difficult cuts, curves, heights, and wallpapering match-ups. I think at one point he even fused two pieces together that didn't belong - but you would never know the difference! I was most impressed with his work ethic and attention to every detail, even with the constant chatter of my two year-old.
