Customers say: Quality work

"They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

"It took us the longest to post this review because we genuinely wanted to give the company the opportunity to honor and stand by their work, but we are now completely exhausted with the level of service provided. : Unsatisfactory Installation, Product Misrepresentation, and Zero Post-Payment Service Do not use this company. We had numerous defects and experienced bait-and-switch tactics during our shower installation. First, the company convinced us to drop the high-quality doors we purchased, assuring us their doors were superior. The doors they installed were, in fact, noticeably cheaper and lower quality. Second, the installation was clearly a rush job resulting in multiple defects: The shower pan was improperly siliconed, causing water to leak out during use. The railing/trim installed above the shower was also not properly siliconed along the top edge; you can press on it and clearly see the inadequate sealing. Most frustratingly, their service stops the moment they secure the fi"

"The entire experience with Better Baths was excellent. The process was so easy, from the initial design consultation with Ryan, the financing options offered, and thoughout the installation with seasoned, professional installers. Our 28-year old bathrooms badly needed upgrades, and we had both new bathrooms installed in just 2 days. The whole process from beginning to end took only 3 weeks. The kid's bathtub and our new walk-in shower look amazing. Our favorite features are the marble pattern shower pan that matches the walls, and an exposed roller sliding glass door. Best of all was the very affordable price. We highly recommend Better Baths for your bathroom project."

"Doug with Scronce Builders explained in detail what work he would be doing. Once I accepted his bid he told me when he could start, He was on time daily and completed the project on schedule. His work was well done. we are pleased with the finished job. His team was very professional they respected our space. They cleaned up all trash and left our house in good shape we did not have to do a big cleaning job after them. They cleaned up outside and no trash was left behind. I would recommend them to my friends."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Belmont, NC

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
