"Candido and his crew were fantastic! We hired them to completely makeover our backyard. They had to remove piles of dirt, bushes, old trees, take up the old cement and then lay new sod, lay an entire new concrete patio, and create gorgeous planters for us that surround the entire yard. The entire project was shockingly completed in a week and looked amazing. We have since hired him to put in irrigation systems in our planters and sprinklers in the yard. We also hired him to do front yard clearing work and weeding and that was done in one day. We also recently hired him to take down a closet in a small room to make it bigger, and his crew did that, patched the ceiling, relaid flooring, and then painted the room for us over a week - it turned out amazing! "From start to finish the experience was great. I was so happy with them that I did not do a price comparison. I feel I got my money's worth! I had an area that was just dirt where the patio should have been. When I bought my home, there was a rotty old deck covering this bare patch. I tried using flag stones and vegetation but it never really worked...so I finally called the cement guys to patch it up. <br /> First they gave me a rough estimate over the phone, which helped tremendously, to get a feel for what I would be looking at. Then Ignacio came out and inspected the area and gave me a formal proposal. I liked him immediately and felt confident to move forward. In my previous home I'd had extensive concrete done and knew enough to recognize a quality team. <br /> Sure enough, they came promptly the next day, worked all day and finished and cleaned up with no sign of their having been there. I really liked that they dug down deep, included rebar, and hand tinted the concrete for the final finish. It was exactly what I asked for, a smooth tinted finish. <br />  I still need to arrange the plants a bit, but Ignacio even volunteered to have a guy come back and help me! I am so impressed by their employees, who were courteous and very professional. The work is great. They did a really fine job trying to match a motley colored tile that covers the rest of the patio. "I cannot say enough good things about Ted Van Midde, their crew and their work at my home in Terra Linda. They completed re-graded my entire back yard, removing and demolished old patios and a deck, rocks, plants in the process and everything was done so carefully and cleanly I hardly knew they were there- and we have huge plate glass windows spanning the entire length of our house so demo was a big concern.  <br /> My landscape architect laid out a very challenging system of pavers of varying lengths, requiring extreme attention to detail and actual artistry from their forming team. They got it all laid out perfectly and when they had questions they consulted me and together we decided on what was best. And when I had a question they ALWAYS responded quickly, in a few occasions proactively called me to ask what I wanted or to discuss next steps. <br /> I can be a very fussy customer but their team could not have been more friendly, patient and professional.
