"Excellent! Being on a limited budget, I had called several plumbers to get an affordable price. I had spoken with some very nice people, but James Fama owner of Quality Plumbing was the only person who actually listened to me. I told him that I was fairly certain of what the problem was because in younger years I had fixed it myself. He was the only plumber that quoted me a price on exactly what I wanted fixed. Some of the other plumbers quoted outrageous prices for some ridiculously unnecessary work, some scoffed at what I said the problem was, but not James. He genuinely listened, asked questions and even though I did not know the lingo he knew what I was talking about. He did quote "worse case scenario" prices to me just in case and even those were quite fair. Mr. Fama came at the scheduled time and went right to work. The job was done quickly and precisely as we had discussed. It went so smooth in fact, that I asked him to fix a pipe for a sink that hadn't worked in years. He had to go to Home Depot to get the part but, he was very quick about it and had the sink fixed in a very timely manner. Mr. Fama did not waste a lot of time talking when he got here because he went straight to work, but after the job was finished we did chat a little bit. He is a quiet, very likeable and amiable man. He said that he was a small business with only one truck and that it is hard to compete with the "fleet of truck" businesses sometimes. That statement got me thinking that I was more impressed with this hard working man of his word than I could ever have been with those larger companies who in some cases seem to have forgotten the "human aspect" of the job. It is my sincere hope that the people who read this will consider giving the smaller businesses like Quality Plumbing a fighting chance. Bigger may not always be the more prudent choice. In closing I would like to add, that being a disabled, senior citizen it is so hard to find companies with integrity, as many of you may already know. Therefore; I would recommend Quality Plumbing to all Senior Citizens as well as anyone with a handicap or disability because I was treated with honesty, fairness and respect. I asked Mr. Fama to give me a big handful of his business cards to carry in my purse, so I could hand them out to everyone. This is the kind of "word of mouth" advertising that Quality Plumbing has earned and whole heartedly deserves."

"There was something that was in the drain so that when water was going in one direction it would be fine but if there there was something down the disposal it would flip it and the it would have a clog and they cleared that. They were straight forward, they got the job done proficiently and professionally."

James not only fixed the plumbing issue, he completed the carpentry work and repaired the ceiling. He also replaced my shower floor and the tiles surrounding it. "We called to make an appointment on Monday, January 21, for the plumber to come out and do this replacement work. The intake person, Norma, was friendly and professional, and she scheduled the appointment for that Friday, January 25. We opted for the 10-2 time window for the visit. The plumber, Jack, called us a little before 10:00 to say that he could come by a little early, if that was OK. It was fine with us, and he showed up and undertook the work. We didn't want to shop around in advance for the parts, so we explained to Norma what we were looking for and followed up with an email that she shared with the plumber in advance of the visit. 1.  He knew exactly what I needed and wanted done when I first spoke to him.  This entailed the replacement, repair, and installation of the items listed above with attention to quality in materials, prevention of future problems, a fair price, and a commitment to starting and showing up once the job was initiated.  Danny exceeded every expectation in these regards!
2.  I silently knew in advance manufacturers, quality and cost of exterior doors (including the french door), storm doors, door locks and deadbolts, leak-proof door sills for 6 inch exterior walls and a leak-proof barrier on the bottom of the door frames.  Without knowing of my preferences, Danny suggested the identical manufacturers and materials I had in mind.  At this juncture, we met and I hired Danny to perform the work.
3.  I am beyond pleased with the outcome of Danny's effort on this project.  As an example of his integrity, he asked me to trust him in the design and installation of an exterior octagonal window in a bathroom.  My wife and I were literally blown away with a handcrafted symmetrical waterproof tunnel and inside wall frame he created - more akin to an artistic piece than a window.
4. Inside work was always minimally invasive using tarps and soft shoes rather than work boots.  Outside and inside cleanup at the end of each work day was respectfully performed leaving no mess.
I would recommend Danny to anyone requiring any kind of interior or exterior installation, modification, or repair as I have seen firsthand examples of his experience, skills, and personal and business ethics.  In fact, Danny is presently working on costs to replace our roof."
