"This group was prompt and courteous. I do need to cancel the appointment, however as I have managed to sell the house and I won’t need to do the repair after all. But thank you for being so willing."

"I've known Gary for about 15 years and he has done home warranty work for me as well as the usual handyman jobs, like install a garbage disposal, ceiling fans, electrical outlets, appliance repair.  I have always found him to be friendly, professional and fast!  When paying by the hour, getting a job done quickly is a wonderful benefit to someone trying to get ready to retire eventually.  I highly recommend Gary and Fix It Quick services. <br /> As it turned out the power line to the house on the outside had burned through and it was actually an Entergy problem and not mine, so the home warranty did not apply.  Gary advised me to contact Entergy and they came out and took care of it.  I value his advise and opinion a lot. <br />"

"We called at 7am and he said he would be here between 8 and 9 and got here at 830. He told us what was wrong and got permission to proceed. When he left he gave us a handwritten receipt for $357. Two days later we received another receipt itemizing all the repairs/work he performed and the materials used. I doubt that I will need him any time soon but I recommend him highly. VERY professional."

"Petr did an excellent job. He asked questions and made sure I was satisfied with every aspect of the work done. He is a perfectionist with tile installation. I plan to hire him to put down either hardwood or bamboo in the living/dining room and hallway."

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Benton, AR

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
