"Quality Gardening & Landscaping did a great job. From quote to completion they were on time and responsive to my concerns and questions. The crew was courteous and efficient, followed through on (very minor) repairs/adjustment of the irrigation system and cleaned up nicely. They let me know promptly when there were going to be delays (rain delayed the previous job so mine was backed up a bit). I chose a somewhat unusual retaining wall style, a little more complex than most, and I also wanted a graceful curve in it. Of the five quotes i got to install the retaining wall, I felt Quality Gardening & Landscaping was only one of two landscaping contractors who were qualified to install it properly. They were patient in explaining the structural requirements of the kind of wall I wanted and knew exactly how to handle the curve I asked for and manage the slope of the yard. Also the suggestions I got about how/where to lay out my flagstone path were much better looking and functional than my original plan. I was impressed."

"We purchased our home in 2012 and after attending to the interior, it was time to focus on fixing up the landscaping.  Leland arrived exactly on time for our appointment and spent at least an hour with me, going over all the projects I had in mind and making suggestions to improve my plan (for example, having a curve to the bank created by the moss rock wall, or using the opportunity to improve an existing retaining wall to cut into the hill a bit more to expand the usable area of the yard).  I explained that we'd have to improve the yard in stages, and that while I wanted to install artificial turf for the water savings, I was interested in a bid for natural lawn (since I had aesthetic and comfort concerns about the artificial grass).  Leland provided a clear and organized quote for the various projects, breaking the bid into pieces so we could decide which projects to tackle in the first round of work. <br /> Leland and his team started work on the proposed date and showed up on time everyday.  Leland was exacting and treated my yard like his own, having parts of the moss rock wall redone when he wasn't happy with the result.  He was happy to explain to us what he had done with the irrigation system (trying to figure out what is going on with that rat's nest of PVC pipes is my husband's continual project) and to make suggestions for how we can best install (ourselves) the next batch of drip tubing.  Both the rock wall and the lawn turned out great - both look more like something I would expect to see in a magazine than in my own yard. <br /> I would enthusiastically work with Custom Nature again, and plan to do so once we have the money for the next round of projects."
