He came back the next day to replace the pump and found that there was a further problem that could not be detected the day before. It turned out to be the computer board which would have cost more than most new dishwashers. He suggested that we just buy a new dishwasher and forego the repair. He only charged us the $75 Service Call even though he was there two days in a row for at least an hour each time. He found that the problem was the power board, which is expensive, and replacing that may not fix the issue. There are three other boards in the oven which cannot be checked without the power board being replaced. I have not yet decided in going forward with the replacement of the power board or replacing the entire unit as it is 15 years old. Should I have appliance issues in the future, I will contact AGB first thing."
