"We have a very unusual home; we have a large first floor condo in a multi story condo building.  To our great surprise after we bought this condo we discovered that the entire backyard of the building belongs to this unit.  We decided to have the backyard landscaped.  It happens to overlook a forest in Kenya, so it has an incredible view to start with.  We got hold of Divine Landscaping and the boss of the firm who is the chief designer named Jaime Pocnur is a brilliant designer.  It is fantastic and we knew that he knew a lot.  This year they had some garden tour where some people are invited to visit various homes.  Our home was nominated to be exquisite and it was exquisite.  Our backyard stood up being the star of the show of all the homes that were open to the public to visit.  Everybody said that ours has been a hidden gem because nobody knew we had this here.  The cost included the specially selected furniture's as well.  It was worth absolutely every penny.  One thing that I can tell you is the owner did not study or work with but he is the disciple of the greatest landscape designer of all times.  It was that background that made it possible for him to come back with this incredible design.  We were blessed to have this opportunity.  We use it for festivities all the time and in fact it happened few days after that home and garden show.  Our condo building happened to have its tenth anniversary celebration and so we visited the building to have that day's at our home.  Jamie just made me like it, he does not handle people work as well as he might but he's completely on up.  He's a good manager of his crews; he has a large crew of Central American stone masons that make these incredible things happen.  His father actually started the firm and he was even more into landscaping.  There have been other people in the community that have used this firm also and it's my impression that they all like him too."

"After all the rain this summer, we experienced some significant water damage in our basement. We called AquaGuard for an estimate to resolve the issue. Chris came out and assessed the situation. He recommended starting with waterproofing the exterior to significantly improve the situation and provided details on interior waterproofing (to include a French drain) if necessary. He explained how everything would work and exactly what would be done. He showed us pictures and samples of materials. We were so impressed we signed the contract that day. The work was then scheduled through the office. Two guys showed up bright and early on the scheduled day and immediately went to work. And boy did they work! The second day some extra guys showed up for a bit to help complete the project. Everyone was very careful not to mess up the landscaping. They put everything back and cleaned up so well, you could hardly tell work had been done. Later I had some follow-up questions about what to expect and received a response right away. We are still waiting for the cement block to dry out (as we were told it would take some time) to see what we need to do next, but if and when that time comes, we will definitely be contacting AquaGuard. And while this service is rather expensive, we feel that AquaGuard provided a fair price for the work."

"Ricky’s installed steps leading from our sidewalk to a lower deck. The work was outstanding. I’d provided ideas of what I wanted, and Ricky helped me make final decisions. They were patient about timing so we could get Reston Association approval prior to work beginning. Ricky’s design incorporated the size, material, and the exact look and feel we wanted. The design allowed enough space to make the steps comfortable to use and safe, all while blending gracefully into the landscape and providing a place to garden beside the steps. They also incorporated gutter extensions below the landscaping to improve drainage. The team worked efficiently and neatly. I would definitely have Ricky’s Lawn & Landscaping back for future work."

"Jeff has a great eye for design. Over a decade ago he completed a patio because the large trees behind our home would not allow grass to grow. He did drainage work, the patio, capped our retaining wall, the landscaping around the patio, a waterfall and lighting. When we needed some work done to our walkway, he created a very nice design and leveled the walkway to eliminate the steep slope by adding two mountain laurel steps. He has an amazing crew that goes above and beyond. There were a few cracks on the porch and they dug out the area and reset the stones rather than just filling in the cracks with mortar. They work well together, cleanup after a workday and are punctual."
