"My garage door was hesitating a couple times when opening. As Overhead installed the door and opener, I requested someone to take a look at it. The repairman was there for about 7 minutes, charged $150.00 to say the opener is old and I should keep it until it stops working completely. Their labor rate must be between $900 -1000.00 per hour Then gave a $674.00 quote for a new opener and asked if I wanted to replace the opener. As he did not actually do any kind of service or repair, what was I charged $150.00 for? Obviously, I will not be using this company again as they lack ethics and integrity. Garage door openers are about $140.00 - 175.00 at most hardware stores. Why would I pay this company almost $700.00?"

"The technician pulled a roller off the door; then told me all the rollers were bad. He wanted to replace them for $150. I asked him if he checked the other rollers; he said no. The door is very easy to raise & lower by hand so I told him no. I asked him if he would check & lubricate the chain. He said that would damage the unit. The owners manual recommends checking the chain tension & adjusting it if needed. He did not look at it at all. He did not perform a safety check either."
