The technician showed me this from the (fireplace) vendor website. He then replaced all the logs per the vendor specs and removed the soot from the fireplace. The fireplace looks amazing. The technician was outstanding! He was very clear in explaining the problem as well as the resolution. He executed the fix in a very clean and timely fashion, despite the large amount of soot accumulated. I highly recommend Pratt Chimney services!"

"Things started very slowly for us, because of constant rain in the beginning and then one or two of the guys were out sick or injured (not work related). But, once things got under way, everything went really well. First of all, our house is three stories tall and the garage is not attached, also the homes in this neighborhood are quite close to each other, so there wasn't a lot of space on the sides of the house for working. The stucco work made it so that you couldn't even see where the patching and repairs were. And, the painting is just beautiful. We needed some gutters replaced and they even cleaned out gutters which were not part of the job or contract. While the work was being done, there was stuff all over the yard, but at the end of each day it was all cleaned up and piled nicely. Bruce and his guys were very courteous and friendly. Whenever we brought up anything that we felt needed doing, they always took care of it. They never gave us some reason why it couldn't be done. As the work went along we discovered that a ceiling had fallen down in a sleeping porch that we just used for storage. It turned out that water was coming in from poor roofing that had been done years before. After first trying to calk it and finding out that didn't work, we had Bruce repair that section of the roof. So that was a completely separate job and the room is now dry and being brought back into working order. We were so happy with the exterior painting that we have now gone ahead to have some interior rooms redone (the walls torn out and replaced and painted.) The one bedroom that has been done is so beautiful that everyone now wants that to be their room. We went beyond what we had planned to do, so we are having to come to an end here, but we will definitely be getting Bruce back to do further work in the future."

"It was written up to be chimney and foundation check.  I wasn't home when he arrived, my husband was, and no foundation inspection took place.  He had a couple of good tips, but not very detailed or in depth.

I believe it was Jake? Maybe I am wrong. I had already sent you an email informing you that I had chosen a different contractor. The email was through Servicemagic and was a automated response that all of the contractors that I had dealt with received. I just wanted to let you know that it was refreshing to have such a honest salesman bidding on my work. Not once did he talk down any other contractors work or products. He was there to work on what he was offering. When I told him that I would remove some of the decking boards off my deck to make room for the siding, he was one of the only contractors to offer taking it off for me, telling me not to worry about it and that he would take care of it. I got the impression that it was not going to labeled as an extra. He was very informative and polite. When it came to measuring the windows inside the house, he took great care that the end of his tape would not bang into the wall or counters. It may not sound like much but I noticed his care for my house. I apologize that he was not given the chance to offer his proposal. I went with the other contractor due to the product they showed me and because of the property that they escorted me to. Your company only suffered because of the order in which Servicemagic listed the possible contractors. I feel that you have a great employee working for you. Hang on to him. I will put in a good report to Servicemagic, Angies List and the Better Business Bureau about Elite. That is the least that I can due for time he took with us.
