"Was honest and told me the repairs would not be worth the charge."

"I called their office around 1:30PM.  By 2:00PM, Rod called me on the phone and spent some time with me diagnosing possible causes on the refrigerator.  We decided it could be a defective fan or just a frozen fan.  Rod said he could come over around 4PM.  
At 3:30PM he called and said he was on his way, 10 minutes later he was in my kitchen.  Rod was very friendly and knowledgeable.  He explained what the problem was, how to solve it, and how to prevent it from happening in the future.  The fan had stopped working because its housing had filled with water.  This was caused by a clogged drainage tube.
I had called 4 other repair services before calling By Choice.  All of them wanted $100 to come out to the house and none of them would come out the same day.  By Choice charged $65 for the house call and was in my house 2 hours after making the call.
What I liked about dealing with this company was:  1) They were on time (seems like nobody can be on time anymore)  2) They were very professional   3) They gave me personal attention.  The price was fair and i feel like I got my money's worth in knowledge and advice from Rod.
