However, in each case, Rick, Josh and his associates developed creative solutions and, as we went along, they helped us refine our vision of what we wanted so that the finished product far exceeded our initial expectations. With his fine carpentry expertise, Rick provided a new beamed ceiling and log mantle and wood work around the new living room fireplace which is itself the artistic focal point of the room. He also transformed an eye-sore half wall into a beautiful built-in cabinet which is integral to the new dining area. Rick and Josh work quietly and efficiently and are upfront about timelines and their availability. In fact, when the demands of a difficult new client caused them to fall behind the timeline they set, they worked on weekends to get current. "We hired Handy Home Helpers to remodel both our, upstairs and downstairs, bathrooms. We could not be more pleased with the job they did for us. They gutted the bathrooms down to the studs, reconfigured the layout and rebuilt them back in a timely matter. John and Bree did all the work themselves. Demo, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting and tile work all done by just the two of them. It was amazing to watch them work. The speed, quality and detail of their work was superb. They were great at keeping us up to date on the progress of the jobs. They also kept the power and water disruptions down to a minimum, always giving us plenty of notice when they were going to shut them off. They took time to answer all our questions.
