Pat patiently and proudly explained the process as it transpired. He explained his extensive experience with Benchmark homes, and had been their mud-jacker of choice until they Benchmark went broke. Midwest Mudjacking used a total of 40 cubic yards of slurry on my property, raising 4 sections of driveway, 5 sections of walkway, and 4 sections of patio. The only sign that the work was done are 2-inch diameter shadow circles in the concrete where the injection pipe is inserted. These circles are not noticeable after a few days when the "mud" has set and they blend in with the concrete. After about 2-1/2 years the work has proved well worth it. Everything has stayed aligned and level without further cracking. I would recommend the process. Communication may not be Midwest Mudjacking's strong suit, however, the quality of the work was well worth any annoyances and the price was reasonable, particularly when compared to totally redoing the concrete."

"Jay Jay did wonderful job for a great price.  He was very punctual and kept me involved in the process, showing me what he was doing and why.  Prior to having him come in I had a plumber come in and run a camara in my sewer line and found a break.  Jay Jay and his crew broke through the cement floor, dug out 17 holes under the foundation and placed the cement piers in place.  He then raised the house until the doors and windows that were sticking started opening with ease.  While the floor was broke out he replaced my old cast iron sewer line from inside the house to about 3 feet past my foundation by doing a  little extra tunneling.  He did such a great job I had him replace 2 old basement windows that were probably 50 years old.  They then repoured the cement floor where they had broken it out and smothed everything over so it looked great.  The whole process took about 2 weeks. <br /> I got estimates from 2 other places prior to going with Heartland.  One didnt have a very good approach and the other was similar to Heartland's approach, but cost  over $10,000 more.  With heartland Jay Jay came out and did the estimate, and also came in and did the work.   <br /> I highly recomend Heartland Foundations for any foundation repairs. <br />"

Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly.
