I contacted several electricians and he was first to come to my house to review the project and provide me with a price on the complete project. Another electrician, once he found out it was a detached garage, told me he would not do the trench work, and I would have to find someone else to do it. I told him not to both giving me a price. The trench work tuned out to be the hardest part of the job. In trenching to the garage, a massive root was uncovered; Alan handled it very professionally and did the necessary work to properly install the wire. I would defiantly recommend him he did the complete job, pulling permits, having the work inspected, the total installation and cleanup. I think you would be happy with his work."

When he got here he checked everything out, made a plan and shared it with me before starting work. He even installed another outlet inside which wasn’t in the original plan, right under the wall light fixture that he used to feed the new wire. No charge. "I contacted Mr. Greaney on Saturday and was pleased to hear back from him on Sunday, making an appointment for Monday morning which he kept on time. He was professional, friendly and a great communicator throughout the process. He looked at the work needed, explained it to me, then worked out a very reasonable estimate on his tablet computer and per my request forwarded it to my email and the insurance company. He started work right away, stating he had other work scheduled but my no power situation was a priority. He worked efficiently and neatly, calling in his very pleasant helper at one point, cleaning up after himself and keeping me informed throughout. He finished up Tuesday morning, and called the city inspector and carefully explained the process to restore power before he left. He also explained some unsafe conditions he found and made recommendations for correcting them. The inspector passed the new service with no problem. This was a terrific contractor experience, I especially appreciated the quality of his work and his explaining things in a way that was neither dumbed down nor overly technical.  I highly recommend this electrician."
