"They arrived early. That’s usually a good thing. But I had to go out quickly before they arrived. They didn’t call 30 minutes before arriving like they’d promised. So it was hectic off the bat. Not a big deal. But later, when it was determined that I needed some repair work on the system, they were difficult to reach. They took my number down wrong at first. But even after calling several additional times with my correct number, they still took several weeks to get back to me. I hired them because they market themselves as a full-service septic maintenance/repair/engineering company. I got the sense that they didn’t want to deal with me."

"I called 2 times prior to today’s visit and they came the next day. Each day there were 2 men on the job. I clearly had/have a Freon leak and it was explained to me I would have to have my walls opened in order to find the line set. Today’s visit, I clearly explained over the phone the job that needed to be done. They 2 prior visits they could not find the leak in the normal places. I was advised it was $250/hour. I agreed. I just wanted my leak fixed. ONE guy shows up, different than the other 4 that had showed up. Says it’s too hard to find the leak. Fills my freon back up and says call us in the spring and we can replace your air handler."

"I needed to plumb a new whole house generator with natural gas, so why not plan on converting everything to natural gas as the appliance needs replacing (propane hot water and stove) right????? I called TOM'S PLUMBING after doing a search on ANGIE'S LIST for a professional. I figured I would get 5 quotes, narrow it down to 3 and then really compare the 3 and decide on one. I did contact 5 professionals and all came to the house and reviewed the job. So, I decided on TOM's PLUMBING after reviewing the 3 and even with a couple of quick revisions to the job, we were able to schedule it in for the following week. This one point was very important to me as we were going to be leaving for vacation, and if I could get this project done, one less thing for me to think about. Tom and his associate Chris showed up right on time on the scheduled day, which was a hot one. They went right to work regardless of the heat, and completed on time. One way I judge a service is whether or not i would hire them again. In regards to TOM's PLUMBING, yes, I would CERTAINLY hire them again, and in fact, I'm already contemplating a couple of new projects. In summary, TOM's PLUMBING is as professional as they come and yet, small enough to be able to work with a home owner for any and all revisions, I mean, we all know things come up. Tom was always available for any questions or concerns and I knew I was in good hands. so not only would I hire them again, I would recommend TOM's PLUMBING to family and friends, which is really what we all care about!!!"

"I've used these guys to clean my boiler for 3 years. I was happy with the work done for the price. Then this year they literally double the fee, by bringing doing the work with two plumbers without telling me instead of one , and changing parts on a working unit so they can charge for it . I've been trying to talk for the past week , they keep avoid my call and saying they will call back. Don't fall for them"

"DO NOT HIRE. They quoted me $375 for taking out (but not hauling away) and installing a dishwasher. They told me that if the job required anything extra, it may be more. All they did was take out and put in the dishwasher and hook it up to water. I had to hire an electrician to connect it to power. Yet they asked for $425. I called several times to ask what the increase was for. Initially, they told me that they needed more information from the guys who worked on the site (who told me that the price was given to them by headquarters). They never got back to me. I have asked for a refund of $50 but they have not responded. Do not hire them. They are shady with pricing for jobs that are not complete."
