"The employees that arrived to do the work were good workers. They were either unaware of the contracted work or mislead. They were not going to install the J Channel per the service agreement, and they had planned to backfill the ditch with the earth they had removed. The contract called for the ditch to be filled to surface with gravel. The installers called the office and explained that a J Channel was agreed on and someone from the office delivered it to satisfy my request. They were going to install the J Channel in segments vs one solid piece across the length of the ditch. I told them the segment seems would allow the water to get thru the J Channel and weep thru our foundation once more. They did the work as I requested but had I not been there or had I been a customer that did not know any better, this job would not have been done correctly or as agreed upon in the contract."

"Just had Bracken install interior French drain in my basement today. Crew showed up on time and kept me informed through the process. I will update post a few months from now once I know for sure the system works or not. Crew was out of Williamsport and worked non-stop and cleaned up well. Only bad thing is price is a little higher than others in area, but we came to an agreement that we both felt was fair. If interior drain works as half as well as the crew that installed it, I will be extremely happy."

"This is the second time we have hired Groundworks (formerly Bakers Waterproofing) to perform work at our house. The first project was in 2017 when we had the waterproofing system installed. We called Groundworks a few weeks ago to get an estimate on lifting our front sidewalk and stairs that have sunk a lot over the past year. The steps had sunk to the point that the railings were not connected to the house, making it very unsafe for anyone coming into the front of our home. Aaron Lenker & Corbin Gillichbover were very professional and knowledgeable when they arrived to assess our sidewalk and steps to lift them. They left our sidewalk and the surrounding area better than when they arrived. Our steps and sidewalk are now level, and the railings are securely attached to the house again. We are thrilled! Some minor concerns: communication between home office and the on site contractor seemed a bit off (did not have a few supplies needed and had issues delivering a receipt after the project was completed) and cleanup after was not terrific. Minor issues aside, the contractor seemed knowledgable and the pump was installed as expected."
