"Owner told me that it would cost around $700 to fix a bearing that went out in my front-loading GE (not very old) washing machine due to the very poor (inconsiderate) engineering design by GE and that I should rather use the $$$ to replace it at the store of my choice (with another brand) than have him repair it...
