"We had an older Heatmaker combination unit boiler that was 32 years old that needed to be replaced. We started out with several estimates and first decided what could be used in our space constrained garage. We decided on a Navien combination unit and focused a obtained a couple more estimates. Dawson in fact was one of the last estimates we obtained. While Dave from Dawson had the benefit of us being well along the learning curve, he was able to answer all of our questions about the new unit and how best to solve the condensate dilemma. He even was spot on with regards to treating our well water to minimize scale buildup in our new boiler. We knew we had reached that point where we felt we had found the best installer in Dave. Dave verified his condensate solution with the local township inspector and we scheduled the install date in two weeks. Carlos and Pablo showed up on time and dismantled the old unit and piping and did a first rate and well thought out installation job. Carlos had extensive experience installing these Navien units and it really showed. They managed to work in a tight space that PSE&G’s installers would not have with relocating a well tank. After all the plumbing was done, Ricky did the electrical work and adjusted some final dip switch settings before firing up the new boiler. Dave and his crew really are top notch. His front office staff (Wanda and Ondrea) made the PSE&G interest free financing and permitting approval process seemless. We are looking forward to the operation and efficiency of our new high efficiency boiler for years to come. If you are installing a Navien high efficiency combo unit, we highly recommend using Dawson Mechanical!"

"After I posted my initial reviews, the owners of Air Temp Service Co. (Mario and Lori) reached out to me, and wanted to make it right. They are a family owned business, and proud of the work they do.We talked about the issues with our interactions with their company. After some additional research, I agree that the Nest Thermostat does need a common wire, and its beneficial that we had it installed. The other issues were due to the technician that was working with us at that time. That technician was removed from the company a few weeks after the work at my house was complete. The technician was responsible for the up charge on service, and pushing us to replace the CPU for our central AC (this should have been communicated as being the worst case scenario instead of the first step to fix the issue).The outside unit which was the main job I contracted Air Temp Service Co. for was installed cleanly and quickly. It was good work. They have also removed the technician who caused my family so much grief. I would say if you are a potential new customer they are worth giving a shot. They will take care of the job, and if you do have an issue they will make it right."

"The initial technician who came first diagnosed the issue wrongly and asked to replace the gas valve and the estimate was very high. But the team who came to do the actual installation ( Sam and Subie) were very knowledgeable and identified the issue to be very low pilot flame. They replaced the pilot assembly for 20% of the initial estimated cost and advanced professional promptly sent a check for the balance from the initial deposit. Sam and subie was very professional and the issue is resolved. Definitely recommend their service."

"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. They moved quickly to remove an old central A/C unit and installed 4 new ecobee thermostats and explained exactly how the process would go. He is so honest and competent and with a ten year labor warranty that his company provides, you'd be crazy to go with someone else. He also was very responsive and extremely fair in pricing, timing and providing his licenses which I requested. I would and will hire him again for any Central A/C needs. "This company was very flexible with scheduling. I even had to move the dates and they were very amicable. They were able to schedule the project in a timely manner. The project did require the use of minor paint job, they provided assistance with that by acquiring the persons that would do that. Very pleasant crew of three guys did the electrical installation , and an additional one for the painting, patching work. Initially , it as thought to be possibly a 2 day project , but got done in 7 hours. I was very pleased."

Perry Mandarakas is one of their engineers/sales people. He measured everything about my old system and then explained in detail how he was designing the new system why he did it that way. He went over what would stay, what would be replaced and why. It all made sense. And in designing my system, he made a couple of tweaks to the design which got me a higher efficiency rating and qualified me not only for a rebate from the electric company, but a $600 credit on my taxes next spring!
