I can put a ton of coats and it will not break.. Two things I have to highlight about Jerry Thomson 1. Professionalism. You can count that Jerry is going to do what he said he would do on the timeframe he estimates. 2. Works hard and cleanly. Jerry put a lot of effort into repairing the water damage caused by the leaks... I specially appreciated that he made sure the renovation area was isolated to keep the mess and the debris from spreading through the house. Jerry installed thick plastic covers over a frame to isolate the hole in the dining room over the master bathroom and he vacuumed every day. His effort reduced tremendously the daily dusting that I had to do..."

"Kip and his team transformed our completely unfinished cold and concrete basement into a warm and beautiful multi-room living space that my whole family will enjoy for years to come! Kip patiently worked with my husband and I to come up with the design for our basement. He came up with multiple plans for a space that was to include a large playroom, an adult media area (complete with a gorgeous wet bar), a gym/ fitness room, and a full bathroom. We met and designed the basement over the course of a few weeks in early August. Once we had our plans, we were anxious to get started. Lucky for us, Kip didn't disappoint.  Kip gave us a 3 month time-line for the job. The project was to run from mid-September through mid December. Kip sent a team of 3 men, Mike, Dan and Bob to build our basement. Mike was the faithful team leader, and he and his crew remodeled our basement from start to finish. All 3 men were respectful, knowledgeable, and meticulous. They showed up daily, on time, and got right to work. Mike and team were clearly dedicated to our total satisfation of their work.  He often asked for our input, and was very communicative and receptive to changes as the project moved along. As promised, our basement was finished right on schedule, and on budget too! We had no surprise expenses or extra costs that weren't expected or discussed ahead of time. We couldn't be happier with our end result, and we look forward to future projects with Kip and Millennium.

"The majority of the work was done well. During our time working with the company there was a change in leadership and staffing that slowed progress on the job so that it took them around a month to complete the originally contracted job. However, they were dedicated to only using staff who could complete a quality job. The owners were very responsive by phone, and would frequently come out to check on progress. If we expressed unhappiness about some of the work, they would send someone out to fix the job to the best of their ability. Their painting/plastering work was not especially great, we knew that they could not match the color, however, the patches were sloppy which was surprising given their name. I wish they would have used higher quality materials for the fixtures, but the best of Lowe's is what they used. However, we were allowed to select the fixtures ourselves and they would pick up the item. If we wanted higher quality, we would have had to research, purchase, and pick up the fixtures ourselves and they said that they would install the fixtures. After getting many estimates and working with other contractors, we would use and recommend them in the future, especially if they had settled their staffing/leadership issues."

"Jim and his team finished our basement this winter. They did an excellent job with all areas of the construction. Jim handled coordinating permits and code standards with the township, and also worked with us on the design and floor plan.
We had two rooms (den and bedroom), an egress window, a full bathroom, a finished closet, and two unfinished rooms (storage and mechanical) put in. Jim subbed out the electrical, plumbing, tile, and the window well dig-out to reputable, insured sub-contractors. Jim seems to ?know a guy? for any aspect of the job. They also did a bunch of custom carpentry including cubbies under the stairwell and built-in bookcases and cabinets for the entertainment area.
We are very happy with the job Hunt General Contracting did, and would definitely use them again for future projects.
