"After a student driver accidentally crashed into our home, damaging the foundation and front porch, we were overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. A trusted friend recommended A. Hubert Construction, and from the very first conversation with Arthur Hubert, I knew we were in capable hands. Arthur handled every step of the process personally. He was consistently communicative, clear, and reassuring... something that meant more than I expected while dealing with unexpected home damage. He didn’t just repair the house, he approached it thoughtfully. He treated our 120-year-old farmhouse like a piece of history worth honoring. He works with multiple masons, but instead of sending whoever was available, he handpicked a specialist experienced in older homes to ensure the original brick foundation was restored correctly. That decision alone told me everything about his standards. During the work, Arthur also spotted an unrelated structural issue, a joist in the basement that had never been"

"American Home replaced my roof and siding, porch windows and some add-on exterior lighting. One of the reasons I chose AHR was not just due to the best price, they came in line with other estimates I received, but because they included things with their final price that similar companies had as add-ons at an extra cost such as the dumpster and gutter system. I did not know what to expect as this was the first time I've had these things replaced. My rep John was awesome, he was professional, friendly and accommodating, and was able to work with me on the spot vs. "I have to check back to the owners" which I got from other companies. John was readily available by phone, text, and in person. He walked me through all the steps, timelines, and the whole process. After the crew finished, he took my list of 'nit-pick' things and made sure they were addressed. Overall I am satisfied with the job, In fact, we recommended them to our neighbors who hired them to do their siding this Spring."

Customers say: Quick response

"Closet expansion!! I don’t normally do reviews, but I had to share my experience with this company. OUTSTANDING WORK! Dan and Joe demolished 2 walls and rebuilt them in one day including sheet rock. From there Kyle took over the project spackling, painting and hanging the barn door. All of their work was super neat, clean, and meticulous. Frank was my salesman, and he was great. Price was very fair. John’s communication was constant and always appreciated. I also appreciated that he walked the job before and after to make sure I was happy with what I was getting. Better than any other contractor I’ve used in the past. Ten out of ten, a must hire company. "

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Bordentown, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
