"My house gradually lost water pressure over a few days, until there was no pressure at all. I called A & T, and two fellows came to the house to investigate the problem. They quickly determined that the problem was not with the pump, but with the air tank. They diagnosed the problem, replaced a switch and filled the tank with air. "Dave was recommended by a Lowes employee after I asked a series of questions about one of their water softeners. He told me that if I wanted something that would last, to consider a customized system specific to treat El Paso water. I made an appointment with Dave where he gave us information about the sources of El Paso’s water and did chemical tests with our kitchen water to show us the (unhealthy) levels of rock sediments and chlorine that is absorbed directly by our skin. He put the same water into a miniature filtration tube he developed to also show us how his system cleans and softens the water. He offered to install one of his tanks on a trial basis which we accepted. Two days later when he started the install connection to the water shut off valve in the garage, he showed me how the valve connection was corroded from the City water, so he replaced it free of charge with a better one. We tried the system for nine days, then Dave returned to hear our opinions – no more itchy skin, water tasted better, it felt softer, fewer soap spots, the washing machine did not have the same odor, etc. He chemical tested our sink water again and showed us the difference in the quality just nine days of using his test tank. As we went over purchase options, his custom install is a plug and play in that you can buy a basic unit and add to it, depends on your budget. In my decision I took into consideration other options: if I had purchased a basic one size fits all water softener plus filtration from Lowes, plus the cost of hiring a plumber to hopefully do the job right, we would have spent about $2,000; a more advanced system would have cost between $3,500 and $4,500; I had also called local companies that do water treatment installs and they charge between $6,500 and $7,500. We ended up buying a system for just under $5,000. He gave us the option to put the water filtration under out sink or connect it directly to the refrigerator. We chose the latter which requires custom plumbing for the water return which Dave did it at no additional charge. He also gave us plumbing options for the tank regeneration, and told us that if we didn’t like our selection he would return, again free of charge, to install the other plumbing option. Another positive is that if later we want to increase the tank size, he will take the smaller tank and give us full credit on the install of the larger tank since he can use the smaller one for his test installs for potential customers. Still another positive is that because we connected the filtration to the refrigerator, he ordered a smaller unit that fits in one of our cabinets. The reverse osmosis in this smaller unit is more advanced and slightly costlier, but he didn’t charge us the difference. It has been one month since the install and it was a great investment. I watched Dave do the custom install and plumbing from start to finish in our garage, which includes quality parts that will not corrode. The entire process is not your typical sale. It is apparent that Dave commits to each of his installs and wants to make sure the customer is fully satisfied, to the point that he is easily accessible for any question after the sale."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"There was a problem with my roof that they made an error and I ended up getting water that leaked into my roof. So they ended up doing all of the drywall themselves for no cost for all of the damage they caused. I used to get a leak out of that duct before I got the work done and I haven't had it since. That was part of what they were supposed to do. The duct work was the return from the air conditioning/ heater that is on the roof and it goes into the house. When I bought the house there was a slight leak in the connection from the duct to the roof. It wasn't it a huge problem but it was enough of a problem. I lived with it for about a year but I ended up wanting to get it done. What happened was when they replaced the duct one of their workers didn't seal up around the duct work and then it rained and that is what damaged the the rest."

"We, Brian and Vicky needed a new A/C Furnace combo. We checked out several places and finally choose B Carlson HEATING COOLING PLUMBING, in Albuquerque NM. As it turn out it was one of our best decisions. First, Charles (a Comfort Specialist), was very knowledgeable on the different systems, he was very patient and helpful on making sure we got what was best suited for our needs. Secondly, Alex (Lead Installer), took out the old and installed the new package system. He, as the other people who needed to get on the roof were extremely careful and mindful of our extensive solar panels on the roof. Third, the very next day Armando (Certified Electrical Tech), came out the next day to ensure the Furnace with the A/C and Special Thermostat were all properly “talking to each other” as well as he set-up all three to again to ours needs. Fourth, the staff, including management, was always ready willing and able to give the extra help the few times the need arose. All the people we dealt with at B Carlson were very professional and respectful. We will recommend to anyone to check out and use B Carlson for their Heating Cooling and Plumbing needs. We will be long time customers of B Carlson. We were not asked to put our experience(s) and recommendation of B Carlson, we in fact asked them if we could do what we have now done. "Wonderfully. The installers were thorough, professional, on-time, patient with instruction, and even fixed one or two things outside the scope of the work. I've used TLC for many different kinds of projects in my home, from the very small to replacing all the piping underneath my house and yard so I've experienced their work quality and the quality of their interaction with the customer. "The motor on my well pump went out. High end costs from some companies could have ran 4000.00. They however pulled the pump examined it told me what I needed and didn't try sell me anything I didn't need. Cost a fraction of what it could have. They also provided me with a tutorial on my well system at no extra charge. Good group of people. <br />"

"I know others have complained about the price and so I contacted our local water testing company for costs. My local company wanted to charge me for individual testing of all the things Environmental was charging me a flat fee for. With my local company I was well over $600 to cover the same testing Environmental was doing for around $200. They sent me the bottles to ship my liquid in and provided me with a free shipping container to send back to them. I didn't have to pay the return postage. I think the entire transaction from placement on Angies List to a report in my hand was about a week or week and a half. I called the number they gave to have someone go over my report with me, which was great. We did have to mitigate a few issues based on the report. Overall, I am completely satisfied and will probably used them on a  yearly basis or so for our well testing. <br />"
