"Vincent came to the condo to help install a wall mounted fan that plugs into a standard grounded outlet. When I told Vincent that the outlet I wanted to use didn't have power, he was able to draw upon his knowledge as an electrician and engineer to troubleshoot each part of the circuit from the breaker to the outlet to determine why the outlet didn't have power. Vincent determined that the circuit was connected to an outside outlet and that the GFI on the outside outlet had been tripped at some point, causing the rest of the circuit to stop. He replaced the outside outlet with a new GFI and verified that all outlets on the circuit worked. Then, he installed the brackets and mount for the fan and verified that everything worked. This man did things right, all five pieces of tile removed stayed intact, he was very astute about getting the old minerals off, was very through with the assembly of the faucet (trying to keep it low) and finally he assembled the rest of it so it could be done all at once. "Mario, the technician, seemed very nice and knowledgeable The $49 quoted trip charge turned into a $220 diagnostic charge not including any service. He wasn’t sure why water was appearing on the floor, but felt it may be due to some clogging of a PVC drain tube. He said it was not possible to simply clean it out, but it should be replaced at a cost of another $250 (for a pipe?). We declined. We subsequently had another repairman come in who said there is no problem cleaning the tube and did so. The material clogging the pipe is shown in the photo."
