"This was our first job contracting with Exteriors Plus founded by brothers Shane and Heath Decato. Because the scope involved the renovation of an older outbuilding next to our home by adding a 2nd floor balcony as well as windows and patio door the project was perhaps more complicated than new construction. The work by agreement took place intermittently over a period of several weeks. We communicated primarily with Shane who consistently kept us well informed about the scope of work and schedule through texts and phone calls as necessary. We were informed promptly of any delays or changes. Shane was very open to any questions and ongoing input about the work as well as incorporating minor changes along the way. Shane and Heath were always respectful of our needs while working at the jobsite. At the conclusion of each day any demo material was removed in a timely fashion. We are very pleased with the quality and cost of the work offered and would highly recommend Exteriors Plus."

Day 1 of the job, Brandon calls to let us know that we do not need to do the work as he took the time and effort to get other opinions on the installation of a beam. Again, character. He could have easily installed, but he took the time to do right by his customer and that, in our experience, is essentially unheard of. The work he completed for us-on schedule-was more than we could have hoped for. He really does great work, listens to the customer (we are guilty of making many changes and talking far too much), but Brandon is beyond patient and willing to work with you. "Gabe does excellent work.  His prep work is exceptional.  His painters are fully and well trained; they do great work.  My house has four different colors and some decorative trim.  They could handle all the details with no problem.  My house is also very tall with a significantly pitched roof.  Again, Gabe's painters could handle it.  Additionally, the painters clean up the work area each day, they are quiet and courteous, and they work long days.
Gabe painted our entire house in 2006.  He came back to power wash it for us in 2010.  The paint job is holding up very well (and our house is 100 years old so the clapboards have seen better days).  Gabe's most recent work was on new siding that is part of a renovation.  It all looks excellent.  He blended the old and new areas together very well.

"We received quotes from 3 companies. Edson was fast at responding and showed up right on time to do the estimate (he originally gave us a quote for 2 rooms at $950, but rectified that and charged us the third room at cost). He gave us a quote within a few days and the work was started and completed with a week of making our decision to go with him. He showed up on time to make sure everything was set and introduce us to the painter (I can't remember his name!).  The work was done in 2 days, which was amazingly fast. The guy who did the painting was very friendly and respectful. He also did an great job cleaning up. After Day 1, he moved all our furniture back into place so we didn't have to deal with it. It was like he was never there! I really appreciated not having to re-arrange our bedroom to sleep at night. The bed and everything else was already put back into place. 
I also trusted Edson's opinion on paint color. I really wanted our nursery to have horizontal or vertical stripes. I asked him what he thought and he gave me an honest opinion, but also said in the end, we can choose what we want - its totally up to us. The house is old (1890) and has walls and floors that are uneven. I was set on using stripes, but he explained that it might look too busy (the room actually has 7 walls). I talked to him at length about this and in the end I chose to paint the room one color. Well, it looks amazing. He was right. 
We are very satisfied with our experience and should we need more painting, will hire again!
