"I don't normally leave reviews (good or bad), but I had to comment on my experience with Casey's. From the phone call to the appointment with Casey himself, everything was exceptional. The knowledge and customer service on the phone from Valerie was probably the best I've ever received on a first call. She was able to give advice to put my mind at ease with the concerns I had and when I mentioned there was an odd smell coming from the heat she went out of her way to schedule me the very next day knowing that the cold weather was coming and this appointment was needed to go ahead with a new furnace install (and knowing I had a 6-month old at home). When Casey showed up he was extremely professional and I could tell he was concerned about my issues and wanted to make sure they were either fixed right there, or I knew exactly what needed to be done to fix them. Not only that, but one of my fireplaces is gas which I was not too familiar with how to turn on, without me even asking he made sure it turned on correctly and then walked me thru the steps to turn it on safely. He also gave me a "Homeowner's Guide to Chimneys and Fireplaces", again not something he needed to do. All of this on top of his guy Anthony (also very professional) finding a small issue I was not aware of on the chimney itself which they went ahead and fixed for me free of charge since the flues did not need cleaning. The main reason they came was to confirm if I need a chimney liner for the hot water heater since I am switching to high efficiency heat. Normally, I would be wary that whoever came would just say I need one to get the business even if I didn't, but I am confident that Casey is honest and would only say I need one if I absolutely do. I wish Casey's did more than just chimneys/fireplaces because I would hire them for the job every time."

He not only gave us an estimate that we were happy with, he also made the repairs with no disruption and no damage to the inside of our house. "Completed a fairly major basement renovation with KBA a few months ago. KBA served as the general contractor, and was responsible for subcontracting specialty (e.g., pluming and electrical) work. Scope of work included demolition and removal of a substantial part of an outdated basement, new electrical and lighting, new flooring, ceiling, and walls, interior painting, restoration of staircase, and total renovation of a basement bathroom, including addition of a new shower, as well as handling all permitting and inspection (code) requirements. Although there were a few minor hangups and delays, as can be expected with any big project, we were very happy with both the timeline and the outcome. The quality of the work was great, and the professionalism of all staff was outstanding. This was a large project that we were hesitant to move forward with at first, but once we started working with KBA, everything went pretty smoothly. Very good experience overall and would recommend to others."

Their designer John had some great recommendations including the wall removal. The carpenters Joe and Bill were really nice to our dogs and our young son Robert. They kept the space spotless during construction and they finished ahead of schedule. We called Risk Free Home Improvement again when a tree fell on our roof during a storm. Again they were great. Sean's brother Marc worked with our insurance company to make sure that they paid properly for everything to be replaced. Initially our insurance company only wanted to pay for a roof patch but Marc stayed on them for a couple of months actually and he eventually got them to agree to a total roof replacement. "Jason was super responsive, came and gave me a quote as planned, then worked with me to make sure the mortar he was using was extra soft (to match the older bricks). And he tinted it to match the older mortar. The job was more of a touchup than full retuckpointing, but he got all the bits shipshape really fast, then when I pointed out a few places I was still concerned about, he came back very quickly to address those as well."
