"We did our research and homework before choosing Pavertime to build our paver patio. Pavertime was very competitive in the bidding process, emailed us a quote quicker than other bidders and were able to start the job promptly. Bryan Cantwell was our contact from begin to end and he was exceptionally pleasant to work with. We had some minor changes during the execution of the project and Bryan was accommodating at all times. The work completed by the installation crew was top quality! They also did a good job cleaning up after they were done. We would highly recommend Pavertime for any paver project."

"I have to say there were a couple of issues. First, the cost for the driveway had to be increased because of an increase in the price of rebar. Second, I was disappointed on the finish of one section of the driveway due to a delay in the delivery of cement. Third, the chosen and recommended paver colors clashed terribly with the brick on the house and the walkway and porch had to be completely re-done."

"Allied helped us out with replacing our sidewalk with brushed concrete, and putting in pavers for our walkway and patio. The results are better than we expected! Matt and Noah were a pleasure to work with, and we were thankful they could continue to safely work during the pandemic. Would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to do the same kind of work we did!"

"I was very impressed from start to finish. Andy was the irrigation consultant who did all my work, and he was excellent.  He was beyond professional and helpful in every way.  His work was excellent, and he went out of his way to accomodate my (sometimes overly) detailed brain.  He was punctual and efficient.  He installed the extra zone and drip as quoted.  Then, since I was having a fair amount of landscaping done a few weeks later, he returned after that work was completed to tune up the system and make sure everything was working and spraying the way it should.  He cut no corners and ultimately replaced, moved, adjusted most heads so everything was perfect.  I have used them in the past and they were great as well, but this time, service was exceptional.  I will likely not use anyone else in the future."

"Provider sent out a landscaper who was on time, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and provided great information with what needed to be done to get the drainage issue resolved. They Provided a good plan but unfortunately it was over my budget and just could not have the work done. I would certainly recommend them and use them in the future. <br />"

"I had a mud pit in my back yard. No good natural drainage. We built a covered porch and had New Patio install a permeable driveway. It is not only beautiful but also super functional. A few weeks after we installed it, we had a great texas rain. It worked perfectly. Standing water was all over the neighborhood, but not in my driveway. If you are looking to install a truly permeable driveway, you need to make sure it is done right. New patio will do it right. Super fast, super clean, super nice, and super professional. <br /> <br />"

"Very pleasant experience with Jose and his turf installation. My front lawn had gotten so bad that it was embarrasing to me every time I drove out or came home. Jose fixed all that. He is a very courteous and knowledgeable young man. Thororougly enjoyable experience doing business with him.. Business like propsal...Price was what I considered fair and end results were perfect. He and his assistant worked two days removing weeds, tilling entire front yard, spreading several yards of very fine topsoil...and finished it off with installation of 5 pallets of beautiful emerald green St Augustine...I am more than pleased with the job and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of grass work or sodding.. Top notch job all the way.. <br /> Thank you, Jose...rare these days to be able to post such a favorable recommendation for anyone..but you deserve it.. <br />"

"I have a one car garage and wanted a way to do tandem parking or extend the usable outdoor space. I chose Made In The Shade and happy I did. Perfect install. Even scribed the main horizontal members to the fascia. 100% quality install. This price was about $1,800 more than a pressure treated solution. But, it is worth it to me because of the very clean, turn key process, and the maintenance free product. Could'y be more happy with the result."

"We thought that we needed a drainage system for the side of the house, since we had stagnant water there all the time. We had 3 drainage experts come over and give us quotes before Johnny Blalock come out to give us a quote. He was the ONLY expert that identified that we didn't have a drainage issue- but that there was a water leak in the neighbors sprinkler systems' PVB back flow preventer (I didn't know anything about this stuff before he came). I was SO impressed with him right off the bat- that he was able to identify the true issue when the 3 other specialists had missed it completely (or rather they just wanted to get hired to install an expensive drainage system that would have cost thousands). Johnny went to the neighbors backyard and sure enough, he was right about the leak- the PVB was completely unstable and so we were able to turn it off and I then contacted the neighbors. I was so impressed with how knowledgable and HONEST he was. He told me that it would have cost around $3,000 to install a drainage system, and that wouldn't have addressed the real issue, since all the stagnant water was due to a leak. I definitely plan to hire him in the future if we do need a drainage or gutter system, purely based on the fact that I could 100% trust him to be honest. I am very impressed with him and the company and so grateful that he was able to provide us with this information and save us thousands of dollars that we otherwise would have spent!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Brazoria, TX

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
