Luis came out the next day and had a very clear explanation of what need to be done and the timeframe involved, along with a very fair estimate. "We needed a NEMA 14-50 EV charger installed outdoors for an electric car, and got 3 quotes from Angie's List. Based on the 3 bids, it seemed certain we'd need a subpanel breaker box installed as our main breaker box was full and there were no empty slots to assign to the EV charger. However, only Tommy from Fairway offered up a potential solution within the existing breaker box, if they were able to source a hard to find quad breaker. It seemed unlikely, but would save a lot of hours (new box install / wiring under the house) and money. Sure enough, he source the part and made it happen. "I just got off the phone with Steve, who quickly responded to my request for an electrician I made on Wednesday, day before Thanksgiving. He requested we talk on the phone and he could possibly assist with a quick fix. Everything he asked me to check and do, I already had done on the night I lost power. However, I went to the circuit breaker, telling him I was planning to shut down everything and power every switch back up again, hoping I missed something. As I did, I felt one switch was slightly wiggly, as he suggested I possibly would find. I purposely pull that switch off, then on. As he correctly predicted and suggested, all power restored.
