"They gave me an estimate for $15000 which I agreed to. On the day the work was done, I was told that additional “base stabilization” was needed because of an area where my driveway had been washing and that they would have to order $5000 more asphalt to fill that in, or else the results would be bad. This washed area was clearly visible when the original estimate was made and should have been included in the initial price. The truth is that they had plenty of asphalt initially, but they sold some of my asphalt to my next-door neighbor to pave his driveway because they told him they brought too much asphalt to my job. Then they put on a hard sell to me, telling me that I needed to buy more asphalt to get a reasonable job done. Effectively they charged two different people for the same asphalt. While the work was pretty good and the workers seemed courteous, I think their business practices are definitely shady. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, and I don't think much of Angi for recommending them. The uploaded picture shows the neighbor's driveway which they paved with part of my initial load of asphalt."

Twice, because of weather restrictions during the week, they actually came and took care of my yard on Holidays (Mother’s Day & Easter). "Stop your search...call Zalar's. Our highest compliment is they treated our lawn as if it were their own. A very large maple tree was taken down in late fall so a complete redo of the front yard was needed. The tree cast complete shade on the front so there virtually was no grass...and heavy Pittsburgh clay soil. The ground was prepared and seeded, weeds and old shrubs removed, all beds were mulched, beautiful new shrubs were planted, and a very, very heavy lawn ornament was picked-up and installed. Beyond the very fair, highly competitive price, Adam and Eric proved to be highly skilled craftsmen. They made excellent suggestions which improved our initial plans. The smallest detail did not escape their attention. Zalar's has our unqualified endorsement."

"I had omni pro fix a mud slide (blanket, planting and retaining wall) last Sept for several thousand dollars. In March I noticed the blanket sliding and patches where grass never grew. I called Tony and Greg several times to get someone to address proactively. Despite my many follow-ups and promises to come out, no one ever came...consequently another slide occurred in June 2019. I once again i started calling. The owner said nothing can be done. I then went to Lowes and redid the blanket and planted grass myself.... I called Omni Pro back again multiple times just to have them remove the mud that has accumulated on the wall. This would be an easy thing to do for a satisfied customer... Tony promised to have folks come out again, that has never happened. I've once again called multiple times and now I am letting others know. I just want someone to come out with a wheel barrel and haul some mud away."
