Sheldon and his team recently finished putting a 'new roof' on our home, I highlight 'new roof' because they delivered more than just new shingles. Ridgecon installed modern intake venting and roof peak venting that is making a difference in the attic venting on hot days. I do not see this attention to detail in other new roofs being installed in my neighborhood. I was careful in my selection of Ridgecon as I had 11 proposals, all from highly recommended companies. "My wife and I purchased 30 Sunrise vinyl windows and a sliding door from Kotch’s Windows-N-More and had them installed in Aug 2017. Our home was built in 1998 and the original wood windows were in need of replacement. Mike Kotch and his team were fantastic! Mike was very knowledgeable and professional and I was pleased that he did not use any high-pressure sales techniques during the bid process. His extensive experience in the windows industry was very evident during our consultation with him. We received 3 different quotes for windows and we found that Mike’s quote (which price-wise fell in the middle of the 3) provided the most value and allowed us to get exactly what we wanted (including a really neat Sunrise sliding glass door with shutters built on the inside of it, and 3 large picture windows that the other competitor said would need to be 6 smaller windows instead of 3). Mike’s installers were also top notch. We were very impressed with the work they did, and the care and attention to detail that they had. (Mike’s installers came highly recommended to us from a few different neighbors of ours, which is one of the main reasons we decided to go with Mike.) The installers consisted of a 2-man crew and they were able to complete our job in 3 days. They did a great job cleaning up too. Very happy with my overall experience with Kotch’s Windows-N-More and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows!"

"The job was completed well and on-time, though we had difficulty contacting J&B for scheduling, even though we purchased the cleaning & inspection through Angie's List.
We were skeptical of the inspection results, however, due to the rather unprofessional nature of the pair who did the job - The mason openly criticized Angie's List ("She's a *** to work with"), while the chimney specialist seemed to be there only to up-sell services that were needed following the inspection results.
Speaking of, the inspection results indicated that a chimney repair was needed, which we were quoted over $4000 for (the "up-sell).  We (wisely) contacted another highly-rated chimney specialist (Dr. Flue) for a second opinion.  They, too, found things that needed repair, but had a more reasonable quote for a better repair product.

"I was told I needed a new roof by a few different companies and when Roofman came out and inspected the roof, he inspected the roof and told me it was good for another 3 years and it did not need replacement. I had one shingle tear back and had it repaired and the other companies told me I needed a new roof and the quotes were over $10,000 for a 10 year warranty. But Roofman was honest and gave me a quote a two thousand less and told me I did not need a new roof. I am so happy that there are still honest people out there. This also gives me a few years to save for a new one. I would definitely hire them knowing that if they are honest enough to tell me the truth about needing a roof then they certainly will hold up their word on the workmanship . Thanks Roofman!"
