"Very good customer service from both call center and plumber tech that did the work. Jeremy did a good job of explaining what was needed to complete the repair and provided choices on which replacement pump to install. Professional and courteous!"

"I needed my water heater to be replaced. I am very happy with this wonderful company. Everyone I spoke to over the phone to start was so professional but yet really personable. Dave was a pleasure to talk to and made me feel like I had no worries. Also they quoted the job 400.00 less than many. They were here within an hour of my call and Rob Mondi and his team were just as professional and nice. They explained everything they would do and kept me posted throughout the job. They were always cleaning the floor as they were in and out and had no problem maneuvering the old and new water heater up and down the very narrow staircase that was almost impossible with ease. There were workers outside doing our storm sewers and they hit our gas line while the install was being done and because of this, Rob made sure they called Ni-Gas and explained to me what needed to be done with the heater when Nigas came in the house. He also gave me his business card and cell number in case they donâ t do what is needed and he would come out. I will recommend them to everyone and I got a quote for my furnace to be replaced also."

"Had a main sewer line backup and called J. Blanton. The tech showed up on time, explained everything upfront, and cleared the clog quickly. He even did a camera inspection afterward so I could see the condition of the pipe myself. No upsells, no surprises, just solid, professional work. Drains have been running perfectly since. Highly recommend!"

"We hired Jensen Excavating for a two week long yard drainage project and couldn't be happier with the company. Our house sits on a spring and we hired Jensen Excavating to install a gravity drain and a nine foot deep curtian drain around our house. Chris and Ethan went above and beyond to make sure every part of the project was done properly, even when we had to make changes on the fly. They were respectful of our house and yard, and made sure to clean up every night before they went home. The quality of work from then is hard to come by with companies today. We highly recommend them to anyone needing any excavation work done."

"I emailed the company on Easter Sunday and they promptly responded the same day with a phone call to schedule an estimate. The following Tuesday workers arrived to do the estimate, in fact they were able to come earlier than plan after calling to see if it was OK. I approved the estimate, and they said they had time to do the job right away. After a quick trip to get parts, the work began. The guys showed me exactly what they were going to do, and what I would need to do in terms of some minor roof repair when they were finished. All 3 men were very professional and straight forward and I felt I paid a fair price for the job.

"This is exactly what you expect from a great quality company! My basement had flooded and I called almost 10 plumbing companies and Tritan Plumbing was the only company that actually answered the phone a few others had to call centers but they were no help especially in a crisis like this where my basement was taking on a lot of waster over afoot, I was able to talk to Sarah and she was amazing, just talking to her made me feel calmer! Sarah Very knowledgable and professional, she was able to get a plumber Mickey out to my house in less than an hour on a Friday night at 8 pm! Mickey came in and looked at my basement and before he even introduced himself he ran to the van and started to get pumps set up to get the water out right away. I was amazed at how much he cared about my basement and with no questions started to pump. it out! Once he had all that set up then he went over some options and he was not pushy he recommended a pump set up so I would never have to worry about this again, and the rice was very good. He stayed late into the night and not only installed a sump pump and a backup system all in the same visit at 8-9 pm on a Friday he was able to install a new Ejector Pump because that was out also. Mickey did not only do good work fast but helped clean up and then recommended a cleaning service Chicago Fire and Water, they were even able to come out same night within 60-90 mins! Highly recommended and I'll always be a Tritan customer for life!!"

FAQs for sewer main install, replace or repair projects in Bristol, IL

When installing a sewer line, you should consider extra costs like tree removal, driveway repairs, or patio resurfacing. Hiring a professional plumber is essential, and you may need additional specialists if landscaping or heavy excavation is involved. Addressing these potential extras up front helps ensure accurate budgeting and prevents sudden cost overruns.

To calculate the length of sewer piping you need, measure the distance from your house to the main sewer line, adding the depth of the city main to this distance. Be sure to account for any obstacles like tree roots or utility lines that may require additional piping.

City sewer lines are installed at a lower elevation to prevent unwanted backflow and water damage. This lower positioning ensures enhanced performance and long-term safety, meeting all technical and safety standards.

With trenchless methods, a plumber inserts a smaller pipe within the existing plumbing, avoiding full excavation. It can be more cost-effective and less disruptive than traditional methods, but it's not suitable for all homes.

Yes, you must secure permission from your local water authority before connecting to a public sewer line. This approval ensures your connection meets all regulatory requirements.

Sewer lines are buried between 18 inches and 8 feet deep, with most systems placed between 18 and 30 inches. In colder regions, pipes are set deeper to remain below the frost line.
