"We had several estimates to add a family room off of our kitchen and convert the existing 1/2 bath to a full bath. We were recommended by a neighbor to also get a quote from Clifton Contracting. It's amazing how similar the price quotes were. That's where the similarities ended. Clifton Contracting impressed us with their design, layout and ideas. Chris, the owner, also was a very friendly and down to earth kind of guy. He was always quickly available by phone if we had any questions.
They started on time, they ended on time, and we love our family room. The new bathroom is incredible. We had a gas fireplace put into the new family room. We showed them a picture from a magazine of the mantle design we liked and they hand crafted it exactly like the picture. The crew worked diligently day after day making our new room come alive. They were friendly, respectful and disrupted our daily lives as little as possible considering what all was happening just a few feet away from our kitchen. They went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with everything as they proceeded. As with any large project, there were hiccups along the way, but they always gave us options and fixed or changed what was necessary with no problems.
We would trust Clifton Contracting with any future jobs we need done.

"Fantastic experience with JS Jackson! They did 2 projects for us - window replacement (6 windows for a townhouse) and cut and install new kitchen window. The leads on each project were very knowledgeable and great at explaining the process, answering questions, and advising on the best products for quality, budget, design, and function. Workers were friendly and professional. The office staff is very responsive at handling scheduling, permits, invoices, etc. It’s been several months and the windows are clearly properly installed, well-sealed, no leakage, and outside framing looks flawless. Would hire again!"

"He was very professional, he left everything cleaner than it was before he showed up, He was very nice, and trustworthy. We left a blank check out for him and after he got what he needed he left a receipt sitting there for us so we knew how much he spent and what he spent it on. Everything was just fine! He is very dependable and very honest. There were things that other people told us we needed replaced and he would check it out and a lot of the things other companies said we needed replaced he just fixed the problem for us. "Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."

"Everyone was prompt, polite, and efficient. The Quality Manager set a convenient appointment for a quality review (couple of days after install). He found several minor things. He actually fixed a couple of items and had a crew out to fix the rest of the list two days later. This was a big process with 42 windows being capped or replaced."
