We changed some pipes and fittings when it was cheap and practical but also reused hardware that was still in good shape. Even with a bigger tank footprint he was able to install it to take up less space and make all the controls easier to reach or use. He was clear in explaining what he was doing and why and he made sure we understood how everything with the new hot water heater worked including regular maintenance. Throughout, he treated my wife with the same respect he treated me. He followed up later in the day to make sure we were happy and everything was working well. We grabbed some of his cards so we could recommend him to friends and family. We are extremely pleased."

His was one of the lower bids but he offered the proper ton rating for our homes sq ft. over another co. His choice of Ameristar furnace &A/C was a solid choice as I reviewed all available heat & cooling products. Note most components come from China & are assembled in the U.S. He had a busy schedule but finished the early April furnace & hot water tank in a day . The need for the A/C I said was not priority & he explained he had a busy scheduled but returned on the day to finish the cooling system again on time. "Excellent. I want to hire a "one man show" to do the work because I feel I get better craftsmanship that way. John isn't the greatest salesman, he didn't come with tons of brochures, etc. like another guy that also gave me an estimate. But he did fully explain the furnace options and what he would have to do and would like to do. And I was talking to the guy who was going to do the work so I know there wasn't going to be the "when are you going to do such and such and the installer replies that's not on my work order" things. I liked John's no pressure way of selling. As I expected the workmanship was excellent and professional. Whenever I needed to make a decision about something with the work. He gave me the options, told me what he thought was the best option and I usually went with his opinion."

"First class operation all the way. Miles and Caleb were polite, personable and prompt. They had a very hard time disassembling the old boiler but were persistent and ultimately successful. They then made sure the new boiler was installed and working, even though that made for a very long day on their part. We are completely satisfied with the new boiler and their performance getting rid of the old one and installing the new one. We now have heat which is very welcome!"
