"I recently had work done at my home by KJ Construction. Kurt was fantastic, and his work was extremely meticulous. He spent several days installing the double front storm doors. He also refinished and painted the wooden double inside doors behind the storm doors. Additionally he installed new hardware on the front doors for me, helping me choose the correct set up I needed online and not charging me anything additional to install them. I then had him back to install a new Larson storm door on my back entrance as well. While he was here he wrapped a support column on my back porch with aluminum. I was tired of painting it and was worried that it would deteriorate if I didn't, so he volunteered to wrap it with extra aluminum he had, and refused to charge me for it! Kurt was terrific to work with. I was completely at ease having him in my house. I really appreciated that he took the time to get Larson catalogs and sit with me to help guide me through the ordering process. I was happy with the cost of the project because he's so meticulous, and trustworthy. I've paid less for other projects with other contractors and all I can say is that you get what you pay for. We had an issue with the paint on the front doors, it started to bubble. He looked into and said it shouldn't have done that and he'd find out what was going on. He contacted the paint company and even though they tried to blow him off, he stayed on it until he got to a regional manager. The regional manager looked into it and sure enough the paint we had purchased came from a bad batch and was defective! The company replaced the paint and Kurt came back and repainted the doors at no cost. Tell me what other contractor does that? I'm seriously considering having a pergola built for over my back patio and I will definitely have Kurt back to do that job when I'm ready to start it. We enjoyed having Kurt working at our home so much that we sent him a Christmas card with an Outback gift card as a huge thanks for all the little extras he's done for us. Being close to retirement, in the service industry myself, and being extremely cautious about my expenses at this point in my life, I need to know that the person I'm hiring to do work for me is highly qualified and able to provide me with excellent service for my money! And I need to be comfortable with them being in my home. Kurt Hutchison is that person, and I highly recommend him."

"I hired them to replace the front step at my townhouse. It was originally poorly constructed and let in water during heavy rain storms. They poured concrete below the foundation line. They completed the job in one day and step looks nice. No rain storms post installation so don't know if that worked. Only drawback was a few delays in communication but nothing serious."

I was satisfied with the work done overall. Though there were two issues that needed to be addressed in relation to the job which I discovered after the work was completed. The problems were addressed but it took approximately two months for a return visit to correct them. The response time to correct problems with the job should have been much shorter."
