"My very old Maytag dryer was making a very loud shrieking noise. I hired Groth Appliance Repair through Angi. On the first visit he vacuumed the exhaust pipes and analyzed the noise. He also checked for parts and quoted me the price for parts and labor to fix the dryer. A couple days later he arrived with the parts. He took the dryer apart almost all the way. The drum was out. Parts were spread over the basement floor. The repair parts needed to be installed deep inside the dryer. After repair, there was no noise problem. I waited about a month to give this review to see if it was really fixed. It was. So, I would classify this service as very timely, very competent and a fair price. I would definitely hire him again. Also, I never know this company before this service. So, no bias."

"After no luck with other repair places, I called AmTech Appliance Service (AmTech) and left a message. Melissa called me back within ten minutes. She asked the make, model and age of my refrigerator and let me know it was an older LG brand which AmTech no longer services (too many issues with LG). Melissa let me know the problem was most likely my compressor and an approximate cost of a new compressor. I appreciate the kindness, helpfulness and empathy Melissa showed. Although no repair was scheduled, I was given very helpful advice on brands to consider for my soon to be purchased new refrigerator.
