"When it rains on the inside of your fireplace, you have a problem. My chimney crown had several cracks that needed to be sealed. I called a few chimney repair companies and in the end decided to go with Holy Smokes Chimney Service. I found the owner, Waylon, an honest and forthright person who seemed to really care about my situation. He came to my home and gave me a quote the day I called him, and then proceeded to tell me he was going to put a tarp over my chimney with no pressure to use his services while I investigated other companies. I was impressed with that and his overall knowledge and experience. Waylon was back with his assistant within two weeks to clean and waterproof the bricks, seal the crown, and install a new chimney cap. They also blew the leaves off the roof, walks, and driveway. The chimney was inspected first and was found to be in good condition so a cleaning was not needed and therefore not charged. I was provided a photo of some surface rust on the chimney cap for comparison with the next inspection. There was never any attempt to upsell or tack on additional costs or work, something I GREATLY appreciate! The technician called to ask if he could come about 1/2 an hour early and then thanked me for my flexibility! So nice and professional!!"
