"The Electrician and his apprentice arrived on time at 7:30 AM. They assessed the job and got straight to work. Despite the complexity, they were done within 4 hours. This compared to a competitor who couldn’t quote or start the work the same day. The electrician and his apprentice were pleasant, friendly and professional. They patched everything up as good as new and the outlet and new light switch looked great. I would hire them again and probably will when I upgrade the wiring throughout my condo. Great company!"

"I had an old light fixture removed that did not have a backbox & cover plate to house the wires correctly and a bedroom ceiling fan that mysteriously stopped working. I read a number of Angie's list reviews and felt that VMA Electric seemed like straight shooters, fully transparent and would be able to solve my issues efficiently. (I knew this job would be T&M rather than pre-quoted as it's impossible to say how long something like this would take). But Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with scheduling the work and she gave me the hourly rates ahead of time so I knew what I was going into. I was fortunate with my timing as they just had a cancellation - so they were onsite the very next morning. They solved both of my issues efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process extremely wonderful. If you're reading this saying "I just need an electrician or two to come by and fix a couple of lingering items that I've had on my checklist for awhile" - you've found your company. The invoice/bill for the work was emailed to me the following day and it was exactly in line with expectations (a lot of reviewers are cautious about seeing an invoice after the fact). The pricing was exactly in line with the rates previously given and it was itemized with materials, etc. Anybody would be very happy with this group."

"George and his colleague were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I have found that it is better to work with a smaller firm in which you are working with the owner and/or top notch electricians vs much larger firms that sometimes provide novices who don't have the same insight. I know, everyone needs to learn, but I think a tiered pricing model would be better when sending a new person. I'd pay for the experienced person every time, and will continue to seek out smaller business such as T&G Electrical with the confidence that the job will most likely be done efficiently the first time."

"Harris electrical was a great find! They were prompt courteous, clean and a great value. I hired them To hang some Pendants in my kitchen and 28 recessed lights to be upgraded to LED and dimmers. I was really impressed with the response time start date and completion date. If you want an honest Electrician working in your home you can rest assured you ve heard the right contractor. Would use them again in a minute and have recommended them to friends and family. While they were working at my house we had a tree limb come down and my dog actually got a walk by the Electrician because the dog walker couldn t get to the house.
