VMA Electric bid the job out carefully and coped with calm and competence with the inevitable difficulties (some incompatibilities between the main panel breaker and the charger's GFI, routing wire between the ground floor fireplace and the chimney on the roof, solution=an elegant wireless Lutron switch). Both the field and the office teams were efficient and pleasant. I would use them in the future without question. They were competent at every level. And while not the cheapest bid on all work, with an old house I have found it saves in the long run to go with an experienced firm."

"David has been providing electrician help for various jobs that we needed done in our home. The latest was the duct work that our home did not come with for EV charging. David is truly the type of electrician everyone dreams of - he did his research, bought the parts and handled the task A to Z without overwhelming us, even though the retrofitting required getting the cables through more than one wall. He installed our landscape lighting, custom light fixture in our dining roo, reached 20ft ceilings in our home to update all the recess lights, installed USB switch plates, security cameras which had no prior electrical wiring and even made our house party ready by adding circuits outside that a DJ could use. He cares about standards(RFI) to follow and never cuts corners needing rework. There's no job that is too big or small; he shows up with a good attitude and just gets it done. "It went well. I have hired this company before and they did a good job last time so I turned to them again. I originally hired a handyman to uninstall a broken ceiling fan and install a new one . Both units had lights. The lights on the broken fan worked but the fan did not. When the handyman completed his work the new fan worked but the lights did not. He tried to fix it but couldn't. He said the wiring in my ceiling was the problem and I needed and electrician. I hired P.W.DiMasi who sent 2 electricians out to investigate the problem. They found there was nothing wrong with the wiring in my house but rather that the fan was NOT wired correctly by the handyman. Also the fan was NOT installed correctly using the correct rated electrical box to support the weight of the fan. They removed the fan, installed the correct rated fan box, reinstalled the fan and wired it correctly. Then they checked all the screws on the fan to be sure they were correctly tightened, balanced and tested everything. When they were done everything worked perfectly. The electricians were professional, polite and respectful and easy to work with. They even vacuumed the floor when they were done. I will definitely use this company in the future when I need electrical work done."
